PACEID, in collaboration with the United Nations Development Programme (@UNDPUganda) and the office of the Uganda Trade Representative in Chicago, will tomorrow Monday 14th August, 2023, launch a comprehensive export preparedness training targeting the US market. This initiative aims to bolster Uganda's key export sectors, including Banana, Beef, Coffee, Dried Fruits, Fresh Produce, Leather, Vanilla, Cow Horn, Dairy, Tourism, Grain, and Cocoa. The online training will be attended by exporters planning to attend the B2B session organized by the Presidential Advisory Committee on Exports and Industrial Development - PACEID during the Uganda North American Association (UNAA) Convention.

The successful launch of the Uganda Trade Hub marks a major milestone in our journey of export promotion. With immense gratitude to @KagutaMuseveni & all involved, we embark on a new chapter of trade opportunities, economic growth, and global connections. #PACEID #UgandaConnect

H.E @KagutaMuseveni and the Serbia president opened the first Uganda Trade Hub "UGANDA CONNECT" in Belgrade to strengthen bilateral ties between Uganda and Serbia, unlocking export opportunities in the Balkans region. Crafted spaces foster dialogue and offer an experiential marketing opportunity for Ugandan made products in cities and airports across the world! #UgandaConnect

H.E.@KagutaMuseveni today officially opened the Uganda Trade Hub “UGANDA CONNECT” in Belgrade. The hub will strengthen bilateral relations between Uganda and Serbia and pave the way for Uganda’s goods and services in the Balkans region. Uganda Connect hub in Serbia is the first of a couple of similar outlets that will be opened in several export markets to accelerate entry of Uganda’s products in key markets in the region and beyond. The trade hub will drive awareness of Uganda through crafted physical spaces that encourage dialogue and discovery to connect Uganda to the world. Using Coffee, Investment and Tourism opportunities showcased at the hub, Serbians will learn and taste Uganda’s products and services. Based on a survey by PACEID, the initial focus will be on Pineapples, Avocado, Coffee, Flowers, Matooke mashed powder and peeled, Mangoes, Vanilla, Biltong (dried beef), Uganda Waragi and Flavored liquor which already have demand. The market testing to introduce these products into supermarkets and other retail shops will continue for 6 months after the launch. The Serbian government and private sector also indicated a strong interest in Tourism, Education, telecommunication and data sectors among others. PACEID is tasked with improving Uganda’s foreign earnings from the current USD6BN to USD12bn and beyond.

Made out of Ugandan leather, cow horn, coffee roasted in uganda championed by the coffee consortium. @KagutaMuseveni this time you have a a full representation by Uganda Connect to the rest of the world @Odrek_Rwabwogo @TugumeNelsonO

Combining English, South Slavic language & Luganda to get awareness for our country’s products. Uganda needs to end the ‘Idi Amin’ tag & rise above the negative perception we meet wherever we go. Our children should feel proud to grow, work & compete with the world. We can do it!

#Uganda🇺🇬 is truly the PEARL of Africa. Thank you #PACEID and it’s leadership!!! When we care deeply, we learn and face our history, we dream big, lead by example and SERVE!!!#onepeopleonevoiceoneafrica

It's wrap up day in #Uganda after an extremely full schedule of the past couple weeks. I am used to being the hardest working person I know, but I know when I've been bested. The #PACEID team @SpecialDuties_ and @Odrek_Rwabwogo run circles around me. But there is so much to be optimistic about for the future of this country. Incredible young entrepreneurs like Agnes from @ssekodesigns; let me call them "industry re-creators" like Rev. Florence @floriemura and team at @tookeonline and absolutely the folks at @KiiraMotors with Africa's first electric bus; and people who are putting people and the planet ahead of profits like Qureshi and team at #Zahrafoods -- these are some of the folks that make me excited about working for and representing the #PearlofAfrica. And many of you that I've been meeting here on Twitter. I'm grateful for you. I'm just one mzungu with shallow pockets. But I have a big heart and a bigger God. I don't always have the strongest faith, but only a mustard seed is needed to move the mountains in front of us. They shall move. Amen? @Kateshd @UIDC_TOURS @OPMUganda @RobieKakonge_ @HenriettaWamala
