not sure why hamnet tries to appeal to modern audiences with “grief” when shakespeare’s play centers on an issue much more relevant today: a dispute over land belonging to denmark

We know Indigenous people thrive when we have access to culturally responsive mental health care. It’s why Jilya is building an army of Indigenous psychologists & has so far supported 79 Indigenous psychology students over just 6 yrs - achieving Aust record graduation rates. In 2024 we launched the National Indigenous Psychology Treatment Centre employing our psychology graduates & ensuring Indigenous Australians are afforded culturally informed complex treatment desperately needed. Launched in Perth & eyeing a Sydney location in 2026 - we have achieved all of this through philanthropic, corporate and public donations! Every cent makes a direct difference to our highest risk families & communities. I volunteer every day to ensure 100% of public donations go to where it should. So, on January 26 be part of a self determined generational change program by donating in solidarity. thejilyainstitute.com.au/donate/ #BuildAnArmy #ArmyBuilt #ArmyJoined #AlwaysWasAlwaysWillBe #PayTheRent #NotADateToCelebrate

@panagis21 That's why I go out of my way to arrange trips outside 'for some fresh air' so that family can smuggle pets into the same courtyard - in a long ICU stay, it seems to be a genuine way of giving hope and purpose.

First home visit for a patient in 2026. And met the dog that the patient spoke of constantly while in the ICU. “Doc, I need to get home to be with my dog 🥹” And now I understand why. This amazing animal gave the patient so much purpose and joy. “I’ll be back” Patient: for me or to play with my dog 😉 Invest in people.

Thanks to @itsthatgirlsuzi for her wonderful book #IntensiveCare That you continue to see and cherish what draws us to this work is so important; these were for me the most emotive passages. Too many try to squash that, a frequent message of 'be serious to be taken seriously'
