@CharZiyanah Scapegoated every time. He is usually paired with Casemiro who can't cover the distance anymore or Mainoo who won't do it. Put him with a player similar to himself and we would stop most of the teams who have played through us all year

Ugarte didn’t have a good game yesterday. No sugar-coating that. But sitting there in the stands only crystallised what I already thought. The hostility towards Ugarte in the stadium is rife, from names being read out to jeers and silence and few claps, to shouting, swearing, moaning and groaning and full on abuse when he gets the ball. Very much like the social media wrath but all encompassing, loud, from all directions and inescapable. It takes real resilience to be unaffected by that and it must affect his game. From hesitating to make the best pass, to playing safe balls and nervous touches. Do we need a midfield transformation in the Summer? Yes. But he’s still a player wearing our shirt, trying his best and being a professional in the midst of a lot of hate. He’s still a just turned 25 year old in his second premier league season. I just wish we’d be better humans to our players, who are also human. And maybe, just maybe, we’d see better performance levels!

@Malachians Ugarte is on his own in the middle with Casemiro who's unable to cover the distance needed, all of the Leeds midfield players looked twice as sharp and far fitter. Utd are continually overrun. 3 or 4 weeks since they last played didn't help either...

I understand people criticizing Carrick for the starting lineup but 9 of that starting 11 picked itself because he had no other options. Ugarte is obviously not good enough for Utd and he’s a liability in that midfield but none of the academy kids in MF look ready. I’m certain if Carrick had another option he wouldn’t play him. Really disappointing result tonight due to an appalling first half.

Murlough Bay today, Portrush strand last week. Unleashed dogs have the complete run of both and it is ridiculous. We have surrendered two of our most beautiful places to galloping mutts. Children come second to them, as do people with a fear/aversion. Wtf are we doing?

@squinteratn Benone beach today was great. We have a big German pointer and she is never on lead, totally focused when I have a tennis ball. We walked a couple of miles up and down. My dog doesn't interact with anyone or anything, bothers no-one. Loads of dogs, horses and weans everywhere.
