A GOFFA "snap training" on Strategic Foresight Methodologies took place today at @UNGeneva . 🇹🇷🇺🇳 The session was chaired by Ambassador Dr. @Akcapar, Chair of GOFFA, with a training provided by @UNIDIR’s Sarah Grand-Clément.

Yesterday @UNDRR SRSG Kamal Kishore joined @Akcapar for the UN Group of Friends on Strategic Foresight & Anticipatory Governance session on “Designing for Future Disaster Resilience”, ahead of his visit to Türkiye where he will pay respect to victims of the 2023 earthquake.

Organized by the Permanent Mission of Türkiye in collaboration with @UNDRR, @WMO, @ITU, and the @UNFuturesLab, the event utilized an innovative "Matrix Policy Gaming" methodology to move from passive learning into an active policy-making environment.
