Democrat Rep. Hakeem Jeffries just said the quiet part out loud that Democrats will refuse to fund the DHS and TSA until Republicans can give them an ironclad guarantee that ICE agents won’t be around any polling locations during the 2026 election.

NEWS: @LeaderJohnThune told @POTUS that Senate Republicans would finally join Senate Democrats to support funding all of DHS except ICE. Donald Trump said no. This shutdown is on him alone.

Rick Scott says last year a Democrat senator said he couldn't miss his $174,000 paycheck because he has to "pay his mortgage". What about TSA agents who make $50k a year? What the fuck are they working for?

She says noncitizens won’t illegally vote because the consequence of imprisonment is too great. Imprisonment only invokes fear if activist judges don’t let criminals walk. It’s all a scam.

A president calling millions of Americans the “greatest enemy” isn’t just reckless—it’s historically loaded and dangerously familiar. This is how it starts. Dehumanizing political opponents as existential threats has a track record, and it’s ugly as hell. It conditions people to stop seeing neighbors and start seeing targets. [1] We’ve seen this play out before: • Rwanda: propaganda labeled Tutsis “vermin,” helping grease the machinery of genocide that killed ~800,000 in 100 days [2] • Nazi Germany: Jews framed as disease and enemies of the state to justify “elimination” • Modern research: even “mild” enemy rhetoric from leaders measurably increases public support for political violence [3] This isn’t abstract. It’s a pattern. When a president declares a domestic political party the nation’s “greatest enemy,” he’s not just venting. He’s pulling straight from a playbook that has historically turned words into blood. And anyone pretending that’s normal is either naive or willfully blind. This is the kind of language that turns politics into tribal warfare, and history is littered with how that ends.
