@luxe_explorer I'm planning a trip to Goa and was wondering if there are any reliable cab services for sightseeing? I know scooties are an option, but I’d prefer a car to explore the beaches and local spots. Any recommendations?

Axis Burgundy - How to Qualify? The ABCs of It. Official link to the Burgundy eligibility is also attached.
Jassneet Singh@jassneetsingha

A lot of questions on Axis Burgundy – How to Qualify (Complete + Practical Takeaways) You can get Burgundy status through any one of these routes: 👉Onboarding • Initial funding of ₹5 lakh+ 👉Ongoing Eligibility (any one): 1️⃣ Balance Route • ₹10L Average Monthly Balance (AMB) in Savings OR • ₹10L AMB across Savings + Current accounts ⸻ 2️⃣TRV (Wealth) Route ₹30L TRV (Core Relationship) Includes: • Savings & Current Account balances • Fixed Deposits / Recurring Deposits • Mutual Funds • Life Insurance • Bonds (RBI / others) • NPS, PPF • PMS / Structured / Alternate investments Does NOT include: • ❌ Demat holdings (stocks/ETFs) ⸻ ₹1 Cr TRV (Full Relationship) Includes everything above + • ✅ Demat holdings (stocks/ETFs) ⸻ 👉 Simple rule: ₹30L TRV = Banking + Investments ₹1 Cr TRV = Banking + Investments + Demat ⸻ 3️⃣ Income Route • ₹3L+ monthly salary credit in Axis account 4️⃣ NRI Route • ₹40L inward remittance in last 12 months ⸻ Family Banking Advantage (Important) • You can link multiple customer IDs into a Family ID via Axis Mobile App • TRV can be combined at family level to maintain Burgundy status • Up to 5 family members can be added ⸻ ⚠️ Magnus for Burgundy Nuance • For Magnus for Burgundy, you need to be a “true Burgundy” • That means: eligibility should be met at individual customer ID level • Family-level TRV may help maintain Burgundy status, but may not qualify you for Magnus for Burgundy (as per branch-level understanding) ⸻ Clean takeaway: You can unlock Burgundy smartly using family-level TRV, but for Magnus for Burgundy, your individual profile needs to qualify on its own. Entered the era of Premier Banking 🥰💸 👉 Opened a joint account with spouse at HSBC Premier — so got 2 debit cards 😊 💳 The much-awaited HSBC Premier Credit Card is coming soon… 🚀 👉 Will share my full journey on how I got there + meeting eligibility criteria. Stay tuned 👀 ✅ With every bank chasing high-value customers these days, there’s clearly no dearth of good options 👉 Anyone maintaining a 6-digit average balance in a savings account deserves better service Also, I’m not someone who worships any credit card like a god or calls it a “king card” 🙅‍♂️ 👉 As long as a card suits me, I’ll use it 👉 Else, I’ll move to the next one Loyalty is meant for family, friends & country — not for a credit card. I still hope rationality prevails and HDFC Bank brings reasonable criteria for the great Infinia 🤞 I have a 17-year banking relationship with HDFC Bank and will continue — as long as it remains mutually rewarding and Infinia is continued. Else, I will move my entire banking relationship to HSBC as my primary account 💼 Customer loyalty should be valued — not taken for granted. Hope customer feedback is taken positively.

Guys, looks like HDFC has dropped the ₹3L spend target (for Mar–Apr 2026) that was earlier given to me to continue with my Infinia Credit Card 🙌 And honestly, I appreciate this gesture. 👍 (I have not even spent Rs.2 Lacs in the given period till now.) 🤔 Not sure if this Mar–Apr spend target waiver is for everyone or selective 👉 Do comment if you also received a similar email 👉Like many Infinia users, I was asked to spend ₹3L across March & April 2026, failing which the card was to be closed/downgraded. 📩 Now I’ve received an email confirming: ✅ This spend condition has been waived ✅ My Infinia will continue till March 2027 However, post that, the original renewal conditions still remain: 👉 Spend ₹18L in FY 2026–27 OR 👉 Maintain ₹50L in Savings/FD And frankly, neither works for me: ❌ I don’t have ₹18L worth of spends to route via Infinia (And I’m definitely not increasing expenses just to keep a credit card) ❌ Parking ₹50L in Savings/FD doesn’t make sense (The opportunity cost is far higher than the card’s benefits) So for now, I’ll continue enjoying the card till 2027 — and thereafter will move to another card if HDFC persists with these conditions.🤷‍♂️ #creditcard #spendwisely #creditcards

It’s okay to have 20 lifetime free credit cards but make sure to pay the dues whenever you use them for discounts or offers, don’t wait for the statement generation date. You never know how much extra you may end up paying if you miss even ₹100 of the bill.

@Alam_Ali_786 Incase the prices drop, hsbc issues you a credit note/travel credit equal to the difference in the prices, capped upto 1,500. This is shown in your hsbc marketplace account & can be used in the subsequent bookings

I had booked the Mumbai-Goa flight via HSBC Marketplace for my family of 3. Since only 1 seat was available at the lower price, ended up making 2 separate bookings. Yesterday, got a travel credit of 1,500x2, since it was 2 separate bookings. We never end up checking flight prices once we book a flight, this tool comes in quite handy for small ticket bookings. The credits came just in time & were utilised instantly for another ticket 😀 Just loving the HSBC Marketplace. Have you ever received Travel Credits from HSBC?

Received 2,237 bonus Maharaja Points ✈️ on top of ₹4K instant discount + card rewards for ₹65,900 Apple iPhone 16 purchase (for brother). Yes.. Apple Store is one of the partners. Most Apple purchases count under Air India Maharaja Club.(Just not freshly launched products) Products not eligible for points: • iPhone 17 Pro, iPhone 17, iPhone 17e • Apple Vision Pro + all accessories • Apple Pro Display XDR, gift cards, Apple Developer, etc. (Other lifetime rules in below image) I’ve mostly seen instant discounts on Axis Bank & American Express cards.. Used Axis for ₹4K instant discount, but Amex is also a good option (same offer)… especially with Plat Travel. MRCC is good.. but not suited for such high value spends. Unfortunately both not issued anymore.. so, Amex Platinum Reserve Credit Card has a low base reward rate (~1–2%).. but effective returns can be ~5–6% 💳 after fee offset (₹10K fee, waived at ₹10L yearly). It also offers 3x multiplier on Apple purchases.. + 3x on multiple brands, especially apay, flipkart & vouchers. If stacked with instant cashback + Maharaja Club.. Apple purchases can be quite rewarding 🔥 AMEX Reserve x Air India combo works well.. Current offer: Extra 4K MR via referral → So, earlier 4 but now ~8K till 31 May +11K MR on ₹30K milestone = 19K MR total Welcome MR are credited instantly for new Amex users (no 90 days / fee clause) - it's self tested and many would agree. My link - shorturl.at/Go999 Additional benefits: • Accor+ , taj Epicure (without stay plus) • 5x on Air India (≈3–4% base) till 31st July 26. • EMI also earns MR (only via Amex Safekey) • ₹1K voucher on ₹50K/month Still #DYOR .. high fees (waived on 10L).. card flipping links not working anymore.. #ccgeeks #maharajaclub

@DealsDhamaka Either via Croma GV or Vijay Sales vouchers. I found the price a bit lesser in Vijay Sales, so purchased from there. If don't want the hassle of Gift voucher redemptions and you're in AEP month - direct swipe (but do check the MCC of the machine)

🚨 Setting up alert for sub 40k points Since the HDFC Marriott FNA covers till 40k, I have set up alert at JW Mussoorie. Let's see if the rate falls. Try using alerts rather than manually checking frequently. Anyone who has stayed here, is it good? How does it compare to Westin Himalayas?
Ashwin tweet media
Ashwin@PointsPro

🚨 Now bump up your Marriott Free night by 25k points! Previously it was 15k and now it is 25k! 👍 HDFC Marriott gives a 15k FNA, and now we can top up till 25k points and book a room for up to 50k! This adds a lot more flexibility and does not restrict us to a 30k room.

5,000 points Mumbai–Delhi? Game changer Puts Axis Atlas back in perspective ! Now Mumbai–Delhi at 5,000 Maharaja Points actually works really well for me — I take multiple flights every year anyway. At ~₹1+ per Atlas point, this redemption starts looking solid. I usually book via Infinia points, but this revaluation is clearly tilting the balance back towards Atlas — especially with the 1:2 transfer to Air India.

✈️ Day 1 – Delhi to Singapore 🇸🇬 Kicked off the trip on 28th March with flight AI2115 (Airbus A321 Neo), scheduled at 10:35 AM — delayed by ~34 minutes, but nothing major. At Delhi Airprt, my Boarding Pass was marked as "RR" leading to additional screening by Customs. (Made a Reel on same and it went viral) We were in Row 23 (emergency seats): 👉 Crazy good legroom (arguably the best in economy) 👉 But almost useless window — tiny and awkward to access Landed in Singapore at 7:11 PM, and the real highlight? ⚡ Immigration in under 30 seconds — fully automated, insanely smooth. Hung around Changi Airport for a bit (can’t rush that place), and left around 8:50 PM, reaching hotel by 9:11 PM. 🚖 Transfer Tip: Booked 2 x 6-seater taxi (~$30 x 2) •6 people + 6 big suitcases + handbags •Singapore taxis are strict on luggage capacity, so don’t try squeezing into smaller cars 🏨 Stay: ibis Novena (first 4 nights) •₹27,300 per room for 4 nights (Red Hot Rooms deal) •3 rooms booked •No breakfast included ✈️ Flight Cost (Return): ₹3,120 🤯 Pulled off using: •HDFC BizBlack milestone vouchers •HDFC BizBlack points •Scapia ₹35K vouchers •HDFC Infinia points 🍕 Dinner = nearby Pizza Hut. Simple and perfect after a long day. 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Group: 6 people (4 adults + 2 kids, 13+) First impression of Singapore: Fast, efficient, and everything just works. More updates coming soon ✨
