@apukwa I've had to rethink my budget and savings plans too. The ten year plan I made at age 30 was wildly over optimistic.

Apparently sending my ID, hydro bills, phone bills, CRA correspondence, home insurance policy, and ICBC vehicle title is not enough proof for the city of Vancouver that I did indeed live in my condo for the year of 2021.

@vb_jens My drivers license wasn’t sufficient I guess because I did not send my full ICBC history. So now they want to see my bc services card instead.

@AlbinoMouse Fun. Curious what else they are asking for? I am coming up blank thinking what other documentation could be used to prove residency. Fob records might work, but seems awfully intrusive.

And then I get kicked out of the CoV site in the middle of uploading paperwork.

Got selected for a @CityofVancouver empty home tax audit. One of the questions was whether I own other property in the CoV **or somewhere else**. Not sure what business it is of the city to know about. I'm sure they won't use it for targeting future audits 🙄

@CapitalOneCA I keep calling and your agents keep hanging up on me - they say they can't hear me but my reception is fine and the automated system is able to understand and hear me. Other calls have been fine. What is going on?

@AskCapitalOne I've called twice and both times your agents say they can't hear me and then hang up. My phone is working fine and your automated system can understand me?

Listening to David Suzuki on CBC today. He’s talking about how people need to make DRASTIC lifestyle changes in order for us not to wreck the planet. Meanwhile he happily lives in a mansion, owns several houses & flies around the country all the time. Sheesh

This is an absolutely heartbreaking story. Hamidullah Habibi escaped war-ravaged Afghanistan and became one of the victims of Vancouver's four daily random assaults. We must do more to ensure this kind of senseless violence becomes a thing of the past. #vanpoli
