My read on this is Trump is done with this war. He never intended for there to be boots on the ground. So the choice is now simple for Iran — open the strait and agree to no nuclear weapons or the US will destroy all their oil/energy and just leave, which will be so economically devastating for Iran it will probably be the end of the Islamic regime anyway.

Why wouldn’t EVERYONE want a new reality in the Middle East?? What is so great about the current one that Spain is so worried about keeping? The new reality that Israel is trying to create is acceptance and recognition of a Jewish state. Israel will no longer tolerate being surrounded by jihadist terrorists whose only goal in life is the destruction of the Jewish state. Israel will either take territory to create buffers as they have done in Gaza and Lebanon or destroy the head of the snake as they are doing in Iran. The outcome of these efforts will be alliances with moderate Arab countries, stability and economic prosperity. Spain doesn’t want this new reality because all they care about is the Palestinians- who have fostered 80 years of antisemitism and terrorism. But the current Spanish government shares the Palestinian goal of ending the Jewish state- that’s why they’re so upset that in the new reality Israel is stronger and clearly here to stay.

Crazy story at yesterdays @Mets game - Guy in section 121 had a heart attack and his wife started frantically yelling for help or a doctor or nurse to come over - One random guy in the section who said he was neither started doing chest compressions and saved the mans life. Eventually paramedics showed up to take over and assist the fallen man. The hero went back to his seat, sat down and watched the rest of the game with zero fanfare or attention. He just wanted to watch the Mets win. When the game ended he walked out like nothing had happened. Don't know his name but he saved a mans life and is a hero.
