@jbillinson Neither is authentic, but you’re smoking crack if you think the McDonald’s one is MORE authentic than the Burger King one.

@Ilhan HEY REP, HOW ABOUT THE $9B OF FRUAD!! Care to comment on that? That is also unconscionable. Growing your net worth from negative 6k to over 30m in a few years is also unconscionable to the average AMERICAN. Care to comment?!?

I’ve used Waymo quite a bit over the past two days, four rides totaling about 12 miles, and it’s been an interesting mix of impressive and frustrating. Let’s start with the cost: my average ride was $18.57, which works out to a pretty wild $6.19 per mile. At that rate, it’s definitely not a practical everyday transportation option. In terms of safety, I never genuinely felt at risk because of Waymo’s driving. A few of the defensive maneuvers it made actually boosted my confidence, but there was one weird moment in a tunnel where it just… stopped. No reason, no hazard, it treated the tunnel like a stop sign. On top of that, it sometimes hesitated at stop signs and red lights, almost like it was over-calculating. Not dangerous, just overly cautious. For context, I’ve also been using FSD v14 (Mad Max) around Los Angeles recently, and to be totally honest, that drives noticeably smoother and more intelligently. It handled high-stress, high-traffic situations with a level of confidence that Waymo didn’t quite match, and the overall smoothness felt far less like riding with a nervous teen driver. Credit where it’s due though: Waymo has a fully driverless robotaxi service today, and Tesla doesn’t (yet). Still, it’s becoming pretty obvious that software matters far more than hardware when it comes to true autonomy, and hopefully the growing competition pushes prices down for everyone. Back to Waymo: despite the quirks, driver support never had to intervene. It completed every route cleanly, and pickups and drop-offs were easy. Honestly, my favorite part of the whole robotaxi experience was the privacy. No driver means you can talk loudly, blast your music, scroll through memes (or whatever) without feeling awkward. No forced small talk, no social performance. Just get in, press start, enjoy the ride, and hop out. I’m really excited for Waymo to expand into Orange County (where I live) and beyond. I just really hope the prices come down, because paying almost $80 for under 12 miles isn’t something most people will tolerate long-term.

Texas is starting to not look like Texas anymore. When discussing the topic of foreigners, both legal and illegal coming to this country, many people talk about Dearborn, Michigan or Minneapolis, Minnesota and rightfully so. However, did you guys know that Irving Texas and Frisco Texas have roughly 20% of the population being Indian? The takeover of this country doesn’t happen all at once from some foreign military storming our shores. It happens slowly and methodically overtime. Death by 1000 cuts.

Here I am signing the discharge petition TODAY to FORCE a vote on banning stock trading for Members of Congress. Everyone agrees this is wrong. Yet we still can’t get a vote. That’s Washington. And yes, it’s frustrating. (Video is AI simulation)

@ivehaditpodcast Theres a difference between “do you think” opinion-based questions versus “did-this-happen” fact based questions as seen with the questions re: Homan. You want a simple yes/no question for an opinion, knowing that media will further misconstrue such an answer?
