@denkmit IoM TT Travelling Marshalls are one of the best if not the best marshalls in motorsports. MotoGP marshalls are almost light years behind skills/training-wise (can’t forget that Morbidelli crash)…

People think that because TT is dangerous, no one cares about safety. The reality is that because TT is dangerous, everyone cares about safety, far more than some 'safer' race series

Audrey Vanherweg is a junior on the track team at Lucia Mar Unified School District. Just last month, another girl on the team cried to the school board about having to undress in front of a biological male. Audrey told the board last night she was there to stick up for her teammate, as well as to "protect women's sports." "I strongly disagree with what is going on in the girls' locker room and on the girls' track team," Audrey said. "I change in my car for track practice because I feel way more comfortable in my car than in our own school's locker room."

@ezraklein -- good question. Some of us weren't blinded. Some of us left the Democratic Party because we refused to be blinded.
And here is the other thing - its not just a refusal to see it by those with power and influence, including the media. Its the aggressive vilifying and yes, cancelling, of anyone who does see it and call it out. That is unforgivable.
You should be asking this same question about covid and gender ideology as well, by the way.

Not a real man. Listen to this guy, Jonathan Lowe, a Nurse Practitioner (Psych/Mental Health) at Tahoe Forest Hospital, who wants all the “queer and trans kids” to know he will support them because sports aren’t really about competition.
Last night Tahoe-Truckee school district made the smart decision to stay with the Nevada NIAA rather than switch to @CIFState for at least the next year. So many couragous girl athletes spoke about fairness and safety in sports. Hopefully we are near the end. 🙏
