Indeed. Big fan of Helenius. Big bounce back year in the AHL. Still high on him. If I were running the Sabres in 2024 and with what was available at pick 14... I would have picked Helenius as well.

Men förstår att du håller honom högt. Glad att han är kvar. Men hade hellre sett Thomas helt klart, framförallt med den lönen.

@Fujipredator Yup, Helenius popped a couple points in career games 2 and 3 and then it got crickets silent. Buium hasnt been producing since MIN stopped force-feeding him PP minutes to up his value in trade.

Just a friendly reminder. Zeev Buium has 5 points in his last 20 games played while averaging over 19 minutes a night during the same span. Konsta Helenius has been held pointless in 7 of 9 games played in the NHL and doesnt seem to be allowed ot take faceoffs in BUF. Weird how the standards shift.

@MustardSports We'll talk in one (or two) year(s) later. It's still same every year (about goalies). I also did read how Sabres fans defended that Luukkonen signing last year after one good season. (In my opinion, Lankinen is not worthy a five-year term.)

Vancouver literally re-signed Lankinen to 5-year deal. I will not understand if the Canucks re-signs Demko to a long-term deal as well.
