@guillemcraft It's cause this is like your 6th account on the same phone. Phones have a root level fingerprint ID that doesn't change and you can easily request from the OS. TikTok uses that

@pcshipp Problem no1 is that 10% of your users leave on step 2. And what is between step 8 -> 9? How do so many people leave there? Are there more screens in-between?

Someone on X suggested I improve my onboarding, so I took the advice seriously. After optimizing it, the result was even worse 40% of users dropped off at the login screen.

Yeah sure. It's nothing complicated really. When you say you're using an AI model for something, that usually means you're calling a hosted API. That's basically just an HTTP request over the web. You send some JSON with your instructions, something like: "User asked [x]. Reply using the following JSON structure: [y]." The request you send to different models is usually the same or very close. So if you send the same instructions to two models, you would generally expect to get back a similar, structured answer. Not necessarily the exact same answer, because different models can interpret prompts differently, but the format should be similar if both APIs support the same kind of structured output. The main thing that differs in this case is that OpenAI and the provider hosting Qwen may have slightly different API requirements. For example, they might use different base URLs, model names, authentication, request parameters, or response formats. If Qwen's provider supports an OpenAI-compatible API, switching over might only mean changing the API key, base URL, model name, and a couple of provider-specific options. But like I said, Claude can look at your current implementation, understand what you're doing and adjust it to the new API with no issues most of the time.

@AlexarasGD @athcanft I don't really know to much about this, I'll give it a read but can you explain me in plain words? And sorry for my ignorance

@vallcodes @athcanft It really shouldn't. Most the stuff you make with AI relies on the endpoint. If you switch that out it's only a matter of adjusting the API calls. Claude can do that in a single prompt.

@athcanft It takes you too much time to make the switch, but at least your pocket wouldn't bleed that much

@is_this_laith I know some people do 1 day warm ups, or even none and still get views. Personally, I always like to warm them up. But I do think 1 week is far too long. I did try it for an account, but it ended up getting banned anyway so..

@is_this_laith Trying my luck appealing. Last one didn't get any response. We'll see about this one. Other than that I have 4 more accounts. I can always make more. Proxy + SMS verification costs be about $4 per account. So it's not that big of an issue. Just the 3 day warm up.

My theory is that they just don't need to compete. It doesn't look like it at first glance, but they have a majority after ChatGPT in market share. Mainly because of their cheaper models used in APIs. It's entirely possible to train a model and get it to around Opus level as Grok and Muse (from Meta) just showed. But these models take tens of millions to train. No reason to try and keep up just to offer a money losing product to subscription users who just complain.

I still can’t figure out why Gemini struggles to compete with Claude and GPT. - Owns Chrome - Backed by Android - Stores most search results - Holds ~95% search history - Google has the biggest user data - Even incognito data isn’t fully private So what’s the problem?

This is pretty normal. You're 100% not shadowbanned or blocked. It's just a matter of content quality, volume, and consistency. Try new hooks and content style ad see what works and what doesn't. Don't write off something if it failed the first time. If posted 100 times, the same post can reach from 100 - 1M views. There's a huge element of luck in there as well.

@hxydnbuilds Good to know. It's just annoying cause I use cloud phones. It's just weird that 2/3 accounts asked me for that yesterday. Never had that happen.

@hxydnbuilds I posted it 2-3 times 😅 Maybe they all made it into your algorithm. Mostly cause I'm running AI UGC creators, and I've verified like this on 5 different accounts, hopefully they don't remember my face 😆

Try this with your existing screen shots and localize your app. Do some keyword research, find the best markets and ask claude to translate your app and ChatGPT to make you screenshots. You can have a localized app in an afternoon.

If you’re a founder struggling to market your app, you need to read this. My app crossed $10k/mo in 90 days after launching, and here is exactly what I did to achieve this feat. it literally doesn’t get any simpler: 1. Create 3 Instagram UGC accounts 2. Copy your competitors viral UGC content 3. Post 2x everyday on each account if you can’t even do this, then you’re not built for entrepreneurship. and I’m being so fr, it doesn’t get any simpler, this is your wake up call.
