UIAGENT INVESTMENT I'm excited to share that Marathon Management Partners has led @ui_agent’s seed round, and that my partner @ChaseAPackard is joining their board. @EnesWitwit is one of those rare founders who combines deep technical vision with relentless execution and an incredible work ethic that goes beyond 9-9-6 (I'd call it 0-0-7, 12am to 12am seven days a week!). His founder journey (shared below) is inspiring and compelling. Since we first met earlier this year, I've watched with increasing excitement as Enes and his team have systematically displaced incumbents in the accounting automation space, a testament to their product excellence and customer-centricity. The opportunity in accounting AI is (to put it mildly) massive. The industry faces a critical shortage of CPAs while being weighed down by legacy systems and manual processes. uiAgent recognized this early and built a solution that's delivering real ROI for clients: -- 80% reduction in manual data entry -- 25% faster monthly close cycles -- 35% faster Employee Benefit Plan audit completion -- 100% automation of journal entry creation With exceptionally fast customer and revenue growth, uiAgent is proving that GenAI can transform an old-school, traditional industry They are going beyond merely saving time for clients, to fundamentally changing how accounting work gets done. uiAgent is scaling their team in New York. If you're passionate about using AI to solve real business problems at enterprise scale, I'd encourage you to connect with @EnesWitwit (or reach out to me and I can put you in touch). Congratulations to the uiAgent team on this milestone! Looking forward to supporting your mission to automate accounting workflows for the world's largest firms.

12 months ago, I boarded a plane, leaving Germany to immigrate to the US… I thought it would be the most exciting chapter of my life. Instead, it became the hardest year I've ever lived. In August, just one month after my arrival my dad suffered from a heart attack. I was thousands of miles away. No family. No friends. No support system. Then came the hidden costs of starting over: Birthdays alone. Holidays alone. In November, my world broke again. My sister was diagnosed with lung cancer. "She's just 22. How is that even possible?" I asked my brother. Every time she texted me while I was at the office, I silently went to the restroom to cry. I couldn’t let anyone see me fall apart. In December, I flew back to Germany. By day, I sat with my sister through treatment. Nights working 70–80 hours to keep the company alive. There were moments I thought I was burning my life savings into the ground. Moments I felt It was all for nothing. Then January 1st, everything shifted. An article about @ui_agent was published. Next morning, dozens of companies wanted demos. From drowning to lifeline. But even then, building a company abroad wasn't glamorous. It was lonely. Painful. There were countless nights I sat in my apartment wondering if I had made the biggest mistake of my life. But those nights taught me resilience. Forced me to grow in ways I never imagined. Now, one year later, everything's different. My family overcame these challenges. I'm surrounded by friends and meaningful relationships. @ui_agent is thriving. We're winning against older, bigger, better-funded competitors. Most founders talk about "grinding". But real grinding isn't hustle culture. It's opening your laptop when your world's falling apart. Pitching investors the morning after crying yourself to sleep. Believing in tomorrow when today is unbearable. But here's what makes everything worthwhile... When I see accountants using uiAgent to leave work at 5 PM instead of midnight, to make it to their kid's soccer game, to have dinner with their spouse, to simply breathe, I understand that our pain had purpose. We suffered through 80-hour weeks so thousands of others wouldn't have to. That's the beautiful irony of entrepreneurship: You have to lose your work-life balance to build something that restores it for everyone else. And when you see families reunited at dinner tables because your product gave them their evenings back, you realize that every hardship was just the price of creating something truly meaningful. Today, I'm proud to share @ui_agent raised $4.6M from @MarathonMP with participation from Rerail. Honored to welcome Chase to our board. Special thanks to @gokulr, @ChaseAPackard, @AlexGorgoni, @MBGilroy and @danonanthony for your belief and support. Most importantly, thanks to my team who worked days, nights, weekends to build the most successful company in Accounting AI. A category uiAgent will dominate and lead. PS: If you’re an accountant who wants hours back, or a talented builder who wants to help us on our journey, reach out at ew@uiagent.co.

Main drivers of the auto loan delinquency spike, based on 2025 reports from NY Fed, Bankrate, and Axios: - High interest rates (9-14% avg) boosting monthly payments. - Elevated vehicle prices (avg ~$50K new). - Inflation-driven rises in insurance (+19% YoY), repairs (+33% since 2020), and living costs. - Pressures on lower-income and subprime borrowers, with delinquencies up across all credit scores.

DON’T SHIELD YOUR ENGINEERS From a founder: “thanks for the great suggestions around taking our engineers to visit the customer. Been doing that and it has immensely improved their understanding of the market and the problem”. Founders: your engineers are some of the best problem solvers at your company and they understand best how technology (especially AI) can be leveraged in powerful ways to solve problems. Shielding them from your customers is akin to deliberately crippling your ability to deeply understand customer problems and come up with unique remarkable ways to solve them. TLDR regularly invite your engineers to sit on customer calls or meetings or to visit customers. Some might opt out (and it’s their prerogative) but the ones who do join will massively uplevel your company’s ability to be customer centric.

I am excited to announce that Arcarae has $2.5M in funding and I am finally hiring. Arcarae’s mission is to help humanity remember and unlock the power each individual holds within themself so they can bring into reality their unique, authentic expression of self without fear or compromise. Our research endeavors are designed to support this mission via computationally modeling higher-order cognition and subjective internal world models. Specifically, we are building the computational models of the other side of intelligence that everyone has neglected:  Intuition. Our evolution is anchored in our current product, an immersive universe for self-discovery, and MIRROR, our AI research implementing cognitive inner-monologue in LLMs, reducing sycophancy by 21% on avg. & up to 156% vs. SOTA models. This marks Arcarae’s transition from a solo endeavor into a full-fledged consumer product and AI research company. I am seeking three very specific people to join me on this mission and help scale Arcarae to its next phase. I am hiring one researcher, one marketer, and one engineer as my founding team. These are far from normal roles; the application and hiring process even reflects this. If you think you are one of these three people, please apply right away. There is much to be done <3 And with that being said, Welcome to the era of Arcarae. And as always, I am excited for what’s to come <3

Turns out this generation of AI startups is very bi-coastal, leveraging the best of SF *and* NYC, often from very early on (seed) Now, if the answer to “SF or NYC?” is “both”, what are we going to argue about on this app
