You're right, local models aren't as good as cloud models That's not the point though The point is to have free, private intelligence that can do work for you 24/7 around the clock I have a 3 local models scraping Reddit, product hunt, and other sites 24/7 Looking for challenges to solve That model hands all of those challenges to another local model That model takes the challenges, then builds apps to solve those challenges A 24/7/365 software factory that never sleeps Would never be possible in a million years with cloud models. Would cost me $10,000 a month in tokens. I paid that one time up front for a Mac Studio that runs this Yes Claude Opus 4.6 is smarter than Qwen 3.5. But Qwen 3.5 running locally is still Sonnet 4.5 level. Just 6 months behind. Think about how good it will be 6 months from now. Nvidia just entered the local race. They are going to change EVERYTHING That's not even counting all the other benefits: 1. You can't get banned for using the model the wrong way 2. Costs just the price of electricity 3. Completely private. No AI execs reading your logs 4. 0 latency 5. Completely customizable This is the future. Become sovereign.

@coreyganim I own a law firm and currently run this set up. Will NEVER share it with a competitor, this easily increases our billing by 30-40%. Just to give you a scale on how valuable this is.

how to turn this article into a cash flowing service business: 1. pick a niche (law firms, agencies, clinics) 2. build this exact "company brain" system for them 3. charge $3-5K for the initial build (one afternoon of your time) 4. charge $500/mo to maintain it, add automations, and keep the brain growing most business owners will never connect Notion to Claude themselves. they don't know what MCP is. they don't want to learn. but they'll pay someone to set it up, build the Slack bot, and automate the nightly digests. this is a legitimate service business hiding inside a tutorial. well done @osf_rekt

Investing heavily in AI at your company will backfire. You are becoming dependent on something that is unsustainable. The VC money will dry up once they realize nobody is going to make any money in the long run except NVDA and the power companies. The subsidies will stop. And your costs will 5x. There is no moat in AI. Switching from GPT to gemini to grok to claude takes seconds and you don't miss a beat. Its a house of cards.

@iliketeslas My guess is that Macrohard is necessary for the last mile functionality for Robotaxis, i.e. finding parking spots, understanding the user’s intent on where to park, etc

Ashok taking over Macrohard means that FSD is done. I dont know the exact reason why the roll out hasn’t been wider right now but FSD is solved 100%

took toddler (boy) to the park today. he immediately spots groups of older boys because they are running around with scooters and footballs, and toddles after them yelling BA! BA! (ball)... but the older boys don't care for him at all. the girls however, ALL want to hold his hand, tell him where to go and what to do, pat his head. one (~4yo) cries because the toddler is too heavy for her to pick up. they have a very serious conversation, led by the oldest one, to devise a turn-taking system for who gets to sit next to the baby. they follow the baby around like a pack, and surround him smiling and cooing whenever he stops. they ask me a million questions about him, babies in general, and me.

Tesla Robotaxi ramping. Roughly at 10% of Waymo's fleet within 8 months of launch. Unsupervised should allow Tesla to ramp much faster, because they will no longer need to hire safety personnel to be in the vehicles. They just divert production from Tesla's factories. Tesla makes Waymo's entire fleet in less than a day's worth of production. Don't be surprised if this number easily 10x by EOY. If Unsupervised safety metrics are strong, Tesla is heavily incentivized to flood every market they are in, because their cost per mile is far below everyone else's. $TSLA
