If the schools choose not to resolve the issue, 100% remind parents we are a school choice state. Leave.

I am thankful to the search committee for naming me the sole finalist to become Polk State College’s next president. Florida College System institutions play a critical role in preparing students for in-demand, high-wage positions. During my time as Commissioner, I have proudly touted their incredible outcomes as they serve more than 680,000 students across the state and provide more than 130,000 degrees and certifications each year. It is an honor to be blessed with this opportunity, and I am excited to contribute to that work in a new capacity while continuing to support strong partnerships between K-12 schools, colleges, and universities. I also look forward to working with the Board of Trustees, cabinet members, and the faculty whose dedication is transforming students’ lives and equipping them with the knowledge and skills needed to succeed in their careers. No matter the position I serve in, I remain committed to the belief that education is the foundation of opportunity and the key to a stronger future.

@AudraMChristian Your local public school might be very different from others.. my local public schools even the elementary have gang violence, plus kids with no restrictions on their phones.. violence and sexual content is not something we should gamble with. Protect their innocence.

I’ve noticed as a Christian, and from experience, as parents we on the right seem to leave God out of the equation. When I got on my knees and prayed and asked God where to put my children it was the local horrible public school. I obeyed. Within a year I started a parents group, ousted the principal and a few teachers. Brought numerous unchurched kids to church and left the school better than how I found it. Do not parent in Fear, parent in obedience to God. Ask Him, you might be shocked. And our Christian children should have their views challenged while they’re young so they know how to stand as adults. #noregrets #missionfield I don’t expect all parents to parent the same that being said do not parent in Fear. Parent your children boldly in obedience to God.

Agreed as Christians we need to help the public school system.. but not at the cost of our own kids. They only get 1 chance to grow up, it’s our job as parents to protect them. We can help others without risking our own. That being said.. I do believe we need to help.

@ksorbs So as a Christian, I think we parents should Push our way back into public education. Yes, we have saved our kids for the moment BUT the public school System is creating the people our kids have to live with once grown. Make the public school the. We mission field.

I recorded this myself and am posting because I wanted people to see what happens when Jay Collins gets asked a real governing question off the cuff. I was sitting there when he said this. This isn’t a polished ad. This isn’t a consultant-written line. This is Jay answering a serious question in real time, and the answer was more detailed than most candidates’ prepared policy pages. 🚨Byron Donalds says he wants to see Hyperscale Data Centers in rural counties all over Florida. Calls objections to building data centers “hyperbole”. Donalds has taken tens of millions of dollars from Big Tech.

Listen closely to this clip from Byron's "business women" event. Questions were cut off so they could maximize their time taking photos. Its all about the photo ops. Exactly what you would expect from a Byron event. All imagery, no substance. Screw people who have questions its all about flaunting ourselves. Further you can hear this woman directly say to Byron "I love you". Gross.

Here is the 7 min clip I caught on data centers from Byron. What I didn't catch was his clear "yes, I support data centers" that kicked off the next 7 mins. He mentioned its just like internet and cell phone towers and how we were all bothered about that at first too but we got use to it. I am also tiring of the "AI is here to stay so we need to accept it" argument. Its similar to "teens are going to have sex (or drink) anyway so let's make it safe". No, we could put our foot down and send a resounding NO.

This is why we want to make medical freedoms protections permanent in law. Because it can happen again in the future.
