About to complete on our new home, property market is pants so we still have our original home - just about saved what we need and now this has completely pulled the rug! Refund is all well and good but who keeps a spare £9k down the sofa? We won't be the only ones!

@gmb bank closures? What about those who are older, not confident with smart phones and apps...is this another instance of them becoming the forgotten generation? My gma was a headteacher & served her community, an intelligent woman, but apps and smartphones are not her world.

@Amazingerika1 Looking on our system, there is the delayed 10:07 or the 11:09 services which are still due to run. Your best bet would be to arrive at the station near your booked travel time and station staff can advise on your next service. ^KM
