the team built a way for founders and investors to get intro'd at Tech Week! Use it May 26 (today) to Jun 7 to meet connect
try it here: intro.tech-week.com
how it works:
- Founders sign up and say what they're building
- VCs hit the same link for investor access, then browse and reach out directly
why?
tens of thousands of people come to Tech Week every year to build, launch, hire, etc.
~30% of Tech Week attendees are founders. Many are building the next big thing. But since Tech Week is decentralized, there's been no central place for founders and VCs to find each other.
So we build this tool, which is only available for two weeks only during Boston + NY Tech Week (from May 26-June 7)
enjoy!

@kushalbyatnal What's old is new. I literally used to work for a company 18 years ago that did exactly this - just not for Agents.
Actually useful!

Over 1 billion PDFs are created every day, but your agents still can’t read them reliably.
Today we’re releasing Parse 2.0, the most accurate document parsing API in the world.
Extend already processes millions of pages daily for leading AI teams like Brex, Mercury, Opendoor, Flatiron Health, and hundreds of others. Now, its even better.
Parse 2.0 is SOTA quality on RealDoc-Bench, our open source benchmark that measures agent success rate on real world docs that agents actually encounter in production.
We trained Parse 2.0 on 1M+ pages of the hardest documents seen in production. Here’s how it stacks up:
- #1 in healthcare, real estate, logistics, and financial services
- 95.7% agent Q&A accuracy on 581 docs (next best: 92%)
- 0.847 F1 on layout (next best: 0.759)
Give it a try today and build production-ready document agents with Extend.

Nah, Toronto is caught up on that front.
More likely to do with a sign of the times. Marketers/growth people seem much more disposable than PMs or engineers. Still. Our craft is less valued. So we don’t need to be educated, up-leveled, recruited or given networking opps.
This is corporate thinking everywhere, not just here in canada.
English

@AmritaMathur People still think we need to build before selling it, SV does the opposite
English

Is it just me or does it feel cray there is hardly any focus on distribution at #TorontoTechWeek?
Every event is "build Canada" or "AI this" and "Hackathon that".
English

@jackiechanisme We haven’t met (yet)! I guess I’d be in the ‘service provider’ camp these days. Surprised to hear you haven’t met any (non-founder) operators though 🤔
English

That cheeky 😈
ElevenLabs and Vapi ship sub-second latency, good turn-taking, and persona consistency out of the box now. So perhaps the tech is interchangeable and not unique.
But I do love the double opt-in! I’m excited to see if the intro quality holds as y’all scale beyond the seeded core.

Holy shit @boardyai’s voice agent was so f-ing good. Super conversational, no weird lags, even made jokes!
The Australian accent was “charming”.
I’ve been bullish on voice for a long time (since 2016!) and this was genuinely the second good experience I’ve had.
English

@jacobmparis lol good one. I meant more like validation, positioning, marketing, growth stuff
English

@AmritaMathur Toronto already solved distribution, tech flows straight through Waterloo to SF
English

@DamiDina Brain drain is hella real. Speaking as someone that has been living here but working for US companies since 2019. One doesn’t have to physically move to count that as being a non contributor to their country (beyond taxes).
English

@willpate Peak Toronto! 😆
Though Drake wouldn’t let a bot be a bouncer. Those guys need to learn to be cool…
English

@FKNmemecoin I don’t think so. They just forgot about us marketers.
(Historically this event has been founder, engineering and PM focused).
English

@Cyberhorsey @HaiderMakess This is why I’m back on twitter. This level of sassiness ;)
English

@HaiderMakess maybe you should have spent 20 mins validating this idea eh
English

@garrytan @scottmartinis X is more entrepreneurial.
LinkedIn’s is more 9-5.
Most Enterprise buyers are 9-5.
English

@tobi For the first time in a long time, it feels like the best place to build and grow.

This is a going to be a great week in Toronto!

@alexandernorman Real war stories and how-we-did-this would be great. There are many forums for this in the US, and vertical ones in Canada. But typically it’s the same peeps/ voices. More community upvoted could be really cool.
(I’ll share more thoughts after TTW’26. Thx for listening!)
English

@AmritaMathur Team willl do another round of accepts later today. Let us know what you would like to see next year.
English

@alexandernorman That’s a good one. Signed up for it and still on the waitlist.
We need more though. Next year, I’ll come armed with ideas and execution 👋🏽
English

@AmritaMathur We just had a founder dinner and this was the main discussion. We have a revops dinner coming up. Check it out here: techto.org/event/the-quie…
English

@AmritaMathur i'm doing a workshop preparty here luma.com/jo6qxvwm?tk=Xx…
English

@AmritaMathur More importantly a lack of “how do distribute through the noise”
