Today once again I have realized why India is a country of “agents” driven govt work. Made 3rd visit for new UIDAI of 12 yo. 1. Post office not operational ( operator not there, need appointment that need to be taken in person ), e-Seva Kendra asked me to get school bonafide certificate and school ID. 2. Applied to school, got the certificate as per schools standard format, even if request purpose was uidai enro 3. E-Sava Kendra asking for passport as POI ( proof of identity) , went to another centre that asked me to get the bonafide in the prescribed format only. All that could have been avoided had I accepted the service offered only for Rs 1000, visit the centre and register biometrics. 😒🥵 If some kid above 5 yo is not going to school what would be poi? @UIDAI why so much complication for all 4 documents needed ( POI, POA, POR, DOB)
