Honestly, kudos to you if you're a Christian who has read the entire Bible. I'm definitely not the best reader nor am I the worst and it really is a hard read through.
It could just be that I'm reading the KJV in old style English which is slowing me down, but that's what grandpa passed down and I intend to read through it all before buying one in modern English.
Real question, did you start with the old testament or the new? I started with the new since my faith revolves around Christ and God so learning what the Messiah taught seemed like the right place to start.

After watching quite a bit of this show, it's impossible not to notice something. Most of these people are ridiculously low IQ. Their families are nearly all as incredibly stupid and are often fat, too.
This is an example of high time preference. There is only the now, there's no way to envision the future for them. A person of normal intelligence would think, "If I'm going to eat this whole cake, I'll get fat." These people can't possibly think about downstream effects. They simply don't have the cognitive function. This is a plague of those with IQs in the 80s. It impacts every aspect of their life.
There is no tomorrow. There's only cake. Giving full agency to people below the curve generally ends in disaster. They can't help it.

I had never actually seen My 600 Lb Life before. A random clip or two. I started watching it and my God is it fascinating. One lady was over 600 lbs and the doctor put her on a 1200 calorie a day diet. He had expected her to be down 120 lbs in three months. He weighs her and she gained 12 lbs. Insane show.
