@waitrose I do swipe the card every week and Waitrose was perfectly capable of sending me relevant vouchers for months previously so why would that suddenly stop so many months into the scheme? The ongoing process argument doesn't really ring true.

The @waitrose club card vouchers are getting meaner by the week. They started off £1 or £2, now all all 50p per item. Not worth the hassle.

@Woldsman01 @waitrose Same here. This is the fourth consecutive week most of my vouchers are for things I have never bought and have no interest in buying. One of the only vouchers that was relevant was for 50p off a £15 item. An item I have previously been offered vouchers for £4 or £5 off.

@waitrose I think this now may be the fifth or sixth week that the "personal vouchers" have largely been for things I would never buy. I'm finding that your "loyalty" scheme has left me feeling particularly disloyal.

@waitrose @daize1 You've got it wrong here too. Why have I been sent loads of vouchers for vegan items? I am not a vegan and neither is anyone in my household. We have never purchased vegan (animal product substitutes)products from you. 3 consecutive weeks of vouchers that don't match my shopping.

@DrEmmaKatz @Oliviapetter1 I know people who have had this virus lingering on for weeks on end who have never had covid. I also know plenty of people who have had covid (including myself and my son) who have fought off subsequent colds and bugs very quickly, until this one.

@Oliviapetter1 Research studies are showing that Covid infections damage the immune system, making people more vulnerable to other viruses than they would have been, and weakening the body's ability to fight off other viruses as quickly as usual.

Has anyone else been unwell for, like, 3 weeks now? It's not Covid. But I've had every symptom under the sun and it's not easing up, even on antibiotics. Lots of people I know having similar issues. What is this?

@lovebeachboys @Flight_Refunds @easyJet Did all this but they are not updating the tracker to let me know whether or not my luggage has now returned. It was supposed to arrive on a plane this morning but no updates to be had.

@AndMG8 @Flight_Refunds @easyJet What you are supposed to do is report at desk on arrival. They give you a reference number which is a very important number. Then you google the worldwide page for lost bagage. Fill in ref number and name and it will tell you how far they got. No need for phone calls.

@easyjet appalled by the customer service following your loss of my suitcase. No one answers the phone, returns calls or replies to emails and the customer service line just fobs you off with numbers no one answers. No offer of compensation or urgency in returning my lost case.

@waitrose so after last week when you sent customers vouchers for things they would never buy, this week we have vouchers on things we want but for a much lower value than previously. How is a couple of 50p off vouchers going to incentivise people to shop there?

@girls_can @chrisshaw537 This would be the worst place to wear masks. Young children need to see smiles and facial expressions for healthy social and emotional development and need to see the mouth move to learn speech and phonics. It is so important for children at this age to see faces.

@chrisshaw537 I really think masks in certain settings are a part of that. Remember kids under 5 have NO vaccines. Why aren’t masks in daycares and elementary schools mandatory?

‘Learning to live’ with #COVID might mean masking in public spaces, annual booster shots and vaccine requirements forever. It can’t mean pretending the virus isn’t there and abandoning protections while we are ravaged by wave after wave of new variants we brewed by our hubris

According to this it is actually rare for covid to reach the brain. nature.com/articles/d4158…
