Three years ago today I was diagnosed with ALS.
On that day I was told to give up hope. Since that day I’ve been told to give up hope more times than I can count.
This is today. 3 years in. I will never give up hope.

I just rocked my 7th Pilates reformer class in January and I’ve been on the road 12 days this month. This is not breaking news, it’s breaking the rules 2.5 years into this ALS fight. #NeverSurrender

It's super easy to fixate on things I wish I could do or what I could have been if things in life were different. Having those thoughts is nothing but a fuckin waste of time & detriment to who I am.
I'm over having those thoughts & feeling bad for myself. Time to be me again.

When I traded my cane for a walker 4 years ago, I donated it assuming that stage of #ALS was over. My core was just too unstable. But Mischa Decker at @IOBT_Pilates is an absolute genius. WE have worked so hard (and laughed so much!) on the way to this moment.

But I have other ideas. So I went skiing today. 1.5 years after diagnosis.

@kylemace22 Because of the learning curve?? My friend @No_Quarter_Dad just went through this and got a surface pro 6...he’s still working through the programming but considers it far superior to the first Tobii he tried.
