These two tanked a major political party (terrible rebrand & overspending). We can't let them do that to ours (the BC Conservatives) by having them at the helm or even close to it.

Imagine being one of the guys who endorsed or joined the Caroline Elliott team in the last 2 weeks. Especially if you knifed your own candidate before jumping onto the team.

There’s a lot of chatter about debate participation. A few things: 1. I’m excited to take part in any & all debates sanctioned by the Conservative Party of BC including the two that are currently scheduled for the end of April. 2. The Juno debate is unsanctioned. Its timing before the membership cut-off date is taking time away from growing the party through membership sign-ups. And it involves candidate(s) who may not even be on the final ballot (major payments are due after the debate date). 3. When we originally agreed to participate, it was due to a misleading communication by a Juno representative (sent on March 12) that *all* other candidates had been confirmed to participate. To be clear: a message was sent to me, directly, saying that “everyone else is confirmed.” This was untrue. 4. When it emerged that one main candidate had, in fact, *not* agreed to participate, we encouraged Juno to move the debate until after the membership cut-off so as not to be at a disadvantage (taking time to prepare for the debate while a competitor was signing up members). 5. The same Juno representative told us they would consider this. When they came back and said they wouldn’t reschedule, we declined to participate for all of the above reasons - but reiterated that I am (and remain!) happy to participate at a later date. For now, I’m going to keep doing what I’ve been doing. Meeting British Columbians all over this province. Hearing their concerns & taking their questions. Getting them excited about change & signing them up. Raising funds. Participating in the two scheduled, sanctioned debates. And - most of all - building a party and a movement that will defeat the NDP.

I welcome the opportunity to stand on that stage at the Juno News debate and face voters directly. Canada was built on courage, accountability, and the willingness to stand in the open and be judged on your words. That expectation still stands. I will be there, ready to defend my convictions without hesitation, because when it’s time to lead, the country sees exactly who was there to answer the call. I’ve lived this fight. I’ve taken it all the way to the Supreme Court of Canada and I won. I know exactly what happens when governments start chipping away at property rights. They tell you your title is safe. They expect you to trust them. They expect you to stay quiet. I won’t. Because I’ve seen what comes next. Taxes spike. Rules change without warning. Families lose control over their own homes. Equity vanishes. Banks walk away. Communities get left behind. That is what happens when politicians gamble with your property. People in Richmond feel it. They know something isn’t right. They’re right to stand up. So am I. I’m a Conservative by conviction, not convenience. I believe in the promise of this country: if you work hard, play by the rules, and invest in your future, what you build is yours. No government gets to rewrite that deal. No bureaucracy gets to strip away your security. No politician gets to decide your home is collateral for their agenda. I will defend your property rights. I will defend your future. I will defend this province. Stand with me. Sign up to join the fight findlay4bc.ca #bcpoli #cdnpoli

@DanKnightMMA This is very telling and shows that people want a true Conservative government. I was on Harman’s camp until he bowed out, now I think Kerry-Lynne has the right mindset to get this province to where it should be.

While leadership hopefuls tout their favorability numbers, a closer look at the Angus Reid data reveals where each candidate actually stands with the base when it comes to resistance. Among 2024 BC Conservative voters, dislike remains low across much of the field, with one clear outlier advantage. Dislike ratings: Caroline Elliott — 18% Harman Bhangu — 2% Peter Milobar — 15% Darrell Jones — 10% Kerry-Lynne Findlay — 2% Yuri Fulmer — 13% Warren Hamm — 17% Bruce Banman — 20% Iain Black — 21% The spread tells the story. Several candidates carry double-digit resistance. A small handful remain largely untested. Kerry-Lynne Findlay sits at the floor, tied for the lowest dislike in the field, positioning her as the least polarizing option as the race takes shape. #cdnpoli #bcpoli

This weekend, British Columbians delivered a record-breaking show of support for our movement. THANK YOU to all who donated, bought memberships, and helped spread the word. The momentum continues to build – with your help, we will carry it all the way. I am the only candidate who can stop a Liberal takeover of our party. Join me: findlay4bc.ca/donate

The NDP think it's ok to house your grandparents with criminals and drug dealers in the same poorly run government facilities. This failed experiment is happening across the province with NO accountability and NO supervision. Addiction requires mandatory intervention, not taxpayer-subsidised housing. I will have ZERO tolerance for any drug use, criminal activity, or antisocial behaviour in government housing. Share if you agree and join us at findlay4bc.ca

Yuri Fulmer is trying to give away the farm before he's even received the deed. We cannot let this man lead the party. I assume he means well, but he should have sought advice from someone with more political experience first. This is a terrible deal for the Conservatives and would guarantee indefinite election losses. I encourage the other leadership candidates to coalesce around a single candidate to safeguard the party from being hijacked by Fulmer and OneBC.
Rob Shaw@RobShaw_BC

NEW - @yuri_fulmer announces a deal with OneBC's @Dallas_Brodie that if he wins @Conservative_BC leadership OneBC will not run candidates in 88 or 93 ridings and Conservatives will not run in 5 ridings to pave path for OneBC. Plus a confidence and supply agreement with Brodie.

To me the property rights/dripa stuff is by far the most important issue (it's literally existential) and Caroline Elliott has been, by far, the best candidate on that topic
Caroline Elliott@NVanCaroline

DRIPA is one of the biggest issues facing BC and many people don’t even know what it is or means. Undemocratic decisions over your land, your jobs, your future, and dividing British Columbians based on ancestry. I explain it all here. Help me repeal it: WinForBC.ca

@rparmar_BC Is the NDP delivering the rats to my East Vancouver hood. It seems to be the only segment of the population that is thriving under Eby’s British Columbia.

I sat down with Princeton Mayor Spencer Coyne. ✅ It’s New Democrats who’ve delivered on the Copper Mountain mine. ✅ It’s New Democrats who’ve stabilized the local forest sector through the Gorman tenure transfer we’re going to keep delivering for this community. #bcpoli

Another key theme from my talk with BC Conservative leadership candidate Kerry-Lynne Findlay was experience—in particular, on private property rights. As a lawyer and homeowner, she fought leasehold disputes with Musqueam First Nation all the way to the Supreme Court (and won).

I'm humbled to have the support of a true Conservative icon, the Hon. Deborah Grey, P.C., M.P. (Ret'd.). Deborah was the first Member of Parliament ever elected by the Reform Party, the first woman ever to serve as Leader of the Official Opposition, and - along with Peter MacKay - co-chaired the first national leadership convention of the modern Conservative Party of Canada. Thank you, Deb.
