With all of the rankings lists out there, does anyone else think we should have one for the most charming courses?
Something like:
Swinley Forest - No. 4 on the “LinksGems World Top 50 Charmers” list
I think we need to make this happen.

@Top100Rick It has some cute and quirky holes and the redan but honestly not even close to a top 100 for me. I feel like everyone who promotes it over sells almost to the point of trying to be cool or a scholarly expert and if you don’t sell it to that level you aren’t cool.
Q&A time.
What was the best golf course you played this season ?
What was the biggest disappointment golf course you played ?

Who here has heard of Hollinwell in England?
This is really a wonderful place that was designed by Willie Park Jr. likely the firmest course I have ever played…making it one of the toughest as well.
A true gem!
What’s it like for a hack golfer to play Cypress Point?
This weekend the world gets to see Cypress Point on TV as it hosts the Walker Cup.

@acaseofthegolf1 Course context helps here. Most of the day you are hitting long iron --> SW, throwing darts. You still need to hit the shots, but the shots are far easier.
How did you play?
"Shot 28 under for 54 holes"
Holy Hell, what was your best score?
"59"
Worst?
"63"
Any Bogeys?
"None"
My lord man, how many did you win by?
"I lost by one"
Anyone out there played St Patrick’s Links yet? What did you think? I played it for the first time today; it was great to see such a special new course in Ireland 🇮🇪. I’m not chasing a list so to speak, but this was my 81st world top 100 ranked course…
Worse views for breakfast 🤔 Getting ready for the 2nd days Texas Scramble round Cullinan Olympus. Superbly organised by @TGI_GolfTravel thanks again to event sponsors @TaylorMadeGolf @adidas @PowaKaddy
First time I ever played with KJ, I had heard about his amazing bunker game skills so I asked him how he hits bunker shots. He said, you have to bang the sand. Make a loud noise. I’m like great. Bang the sand, hit the first one, goes 15 yds past my landing area… 2nd one 20 yds too far… KJ shaking his head haha
I couldn’t ever figure his technique out so I gave up and did it my way. There are many ways to do it especially in the bunker
