In order to help avoid blue light in the later parts of the day, I've set up automations on my Mac and iPhone to enable a pure red color filter over the display It's a bit extreme because I can't see some buttons on websites, but I'll give it a go for a bit

I stayed in that apartment for the 4 months and I loved it. It’s most cozy hotel that I ever stayed in Danang. Staff are very friendly and speaks English. And happy to help you with any request like get an extension cable or a table. They have a small gym so you can workout on a smith machine or with dumbbells. Lobby is nice so you can stay there with you laptop and get some coffee or juice. WiFi is 40 Mbit and stable. Pretty quite place. Totally recommend it for a long term staying.

@sobedominik I stayed Moon apparthotel in 2022, big room with desk and small kitchen, and common area downstairs you can work from. Perfect location I recommend you book a few days, see how you like it and negotiate a month lease then, should be doable in February maps.app.goo.gl/xXrGc9QdTmHoRQ…

Any 🇻🇳 Da Nang veterans here? Planning to go there in February and would love to learn a bit about: - what area to stay best and where you book accom (I’m already part of a WA group with listings but have mixed feelings), - what gym and - cowork you love? I heard a bit about perhaps first staying few days in a hotel before committing to a month lease because of potential noise? Will share bunch of Vietnamese iced coffees in return ☕️🙏

Heroku went dark an hour ago... there are still ongoing AWS-related issues. Some of my apps are up but others, down.

If you’re just starting to learn a new skill - whether it’s going to the gym or training in a martial art like BJJ (Brazilian jiu-jitsu) - the fastest way to get results is to hire a personal trainer for private, one-on-one sessions. I’d never taken any private lessons before, because I thought, “I know better,” but recently I did a few BJJ private classes (@NorbertDragan's recommendation) and - holy smoke - this is a whole other level of learning. It almost feels like a cheat code, because all the attention is on you, so you’ll have the shortest learning curve. Compared to a group class of 30 people, where you have to learn by watching and then try to replicate moves on your own. Plus, it’s much more fun and enjoyable when the program is tailored specifically to you, taking into account your strengths and weaknesses. For example, I’m very inflexible, so during the first 15 minutes of every session we focus exclusively on stretching. My instructor also mentioned that some top BJJ gyms won’t let you join group classes until you’ve completed at least ten private sessions - because skipping that foundation often leads to more injuries, less enjoyment, and unnecessary frustration. Have you tried to learn something new with a private classes?

I'm racing in a small karting championship (KIP Sprint Cup) as a total noob. I'm having a LOT of fun though and slowly improving. For the first time, after doing decently in the first two heats, I've made it to the final, where I gained 10 positions. Here's some highlights ✌️

I talked to two people about doing work for my business last year. I told them I didn't want to do an interview. Instead I asked for a one-page proposal of what they would do in the first 3 months. I got a shocked face and haven't heard from them since 🤣

Deadlift PR 🔥 110 kg, nearly double my weight! After being stuck at 105 kg for months, I hired a coach. My first attempt post-coaching was disappointing—I failed at 105 kg. But I trusted the plan, followed his guidance, and it paid off!

Why I still like Sublime Text in 2025: same observations for me! No AI features, not sucking my battery, just a clean productive editor with zero distractions. Makes you a better developer by not over-automating everything you do. ohdoylerules.com/workflows/why-…
