NEW DATA: Hundreds of thousands of food stamp enrollees had verifiable addresses in other states — some with no record of *ever* living in the state they claimed benefits in.

$70,000 in food stamp fraud. This isn’t as exciting as a billion dollars in hospice fraud - but this happens by the billions when people lie about their income and residence. Policy needs to change to require more up front verification. actionnews5.com/2026/04/21/wom…

New York has over 8 times as many "home health aides" relative to senior citizens as Florida. What's going on? Mass Medicaid fraud. jec.senate.gov/public/vendor/…

A millionaire collected food stamps for 19 months—legally. And he did it to expose a huge problem! This is not a glitch in the system. It's fraud by design. @FDRLST's M.D. Kittle has the exclusive on FGA's new video exposing the "BBCE" loophole. 🔗 BELOW.

From @WSJFreeEx via @WSJOpinion: The fraud in California, Minnesota and other blue states aren’t outliers. They are the predictable result of how blue-state social-welfare systems are designed and run, writes @jamesbmeigs. on.wsj.com/4cpurda

Special agents from the USDA Office of Inspector General and Homeland Security Investigations executed criminal search warrants at multiple SNAP retail locations today in the Twin Cities as part of Operation Cold SNAP. The law enforcement partners collaborated with USDA’s Food and Nutrition Service and the U.S. Attorney’s Office to identify authorized retailers participating in the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) that fraudulently trafficked in SNAP benefits. “Today’s successful takedowns of SNAP traffickers and program violators at more than 20 retail locations across the Twin Cities demonstrates the effectiveness of fraud prevention when federal partners work together to leverage resources against those who reprehensibly exploit the needy to enrich themselves,” Walk said. “Fraudulent SNAP retailers steal from victims that include children who rely on federal nutrition assistance and dishonor the charity of American taxpayers who fund the assistance. OIG will continue to work hand-in-hand with federal law enforcement partners and agencies across the government in the war on fraud and hold criminals to account.” usdaoig.oversight.gov/articles/news/… #OIG #FightingFraud #SNAP @HSISaintPaul @USDA_FNS

❄️ OPERATION COLD SNAP – WALKING THE WALK Plenty of talk about fraud. This is action. Federal agents from @OIGUSDA, @HSI_HQ, @USDA_FNS, and prosecutors executed warrants across the Twin Cities targeting SNAP trafficking retailers. Not estimates. Not theories. Action. “Fraudulent SNAP retailers steal from victims that include children who rely on federal nutrition assistance.” That’s the reality. Food off the table. SNAP fraud is a multi-billion dollar problem. Operations like this are how you push back. 👏 Credit to USDA OIG, USSS, HSI, FNS, and @DOJCrimDiv partners. usdaoig.oversight.gov/articles/news/…

🚨 The food stamp program has a fraud-by-design problem! A Clinton-era loophole called Broad-Based Categorical Eligibility is letting millions of ineligible people collect benefits. Here's how it works—and why Indiana's move to close it should be a model for every state. 🧵
