JUST IN: Democrat Maine Governor Janet Mills has dropped out of the race for U.S. Senate. Mills previously went viral after President Trump called her out to her face for refusing to comply with his executive order banning men from women's sports. One year later, Mills says she has to suspend her campaign for U.S. Senate because she doesn’t have the financial resources. She dropped out just weeks before her Democratic primary against Graham Platner. “While I have the drive and passion, commitment and experience, and above all else – the fight – to continue on, I very simply do not have the one thing that political campaigns unfortunately require today: the financial resources,” she said.

I’m reporting on @wbalradio at the #PatapscoRiver in #SparrowsPoint as @GovWesMoore has told the @TheMDTA to find a new contractor to rebuild the #KeyBridge saying the current contractor’s price tag & timeline are unreasonable. @C4WBAL @BryanNehman @TJSmithSocial @Angelette

First Lady Melania Trump has issued a statement demanding that ABC fire Jimmy Kimmel.

@LeoFeldmanNEWS @Reporterroblang From experience, this is standard for these events. Security isn’t just about the building, it’s about controlling the final access point. Screening right outside a ballroom ensures everyone inside was cleared right before entry, w/no opportunity to bypass it through other doors.

Something I noticed even before coming into the #WHCADinner was that the security was only outside the ballroom inside, not outside the building. So the entrance of the building did not have a security machine only guards, you only went through the screening before the ballroom. @Newsweek

I've watched Isabel work, she is genuinely one of the most earnest people in public office. These back-and-forths happen to all of us. What sets real leaders apart is the willingness to pause, reflect, and take accountability publicly. In Baltimore, from any public official,

The Office of Mayor Brandon Scott described the IG’s social media post as, “deeply inappropriate, misleading, damaging, and racist" and called it “the latest example of the inspector general's problematic social media activity.” Read the full article here: thebanner.com/politics-power…
