Yet again, we discover that a bunch of DC consultants put forward this guy with zero vetting as a cash grab, and then when vetting happened it turned out he was a scumbag, and then they called their buddies to keep pushing this forward so they could keep making more money.

@WSJ At this point in time, why on earth would this matter given Trump's sexual history of rampant infidelity and accusations of rape? SMH, guys, SMH.

Jew in a Canoe ✡️🇨🇦 memoir now available!
People believe that because 700,000 Palestinians were displaced in an Arab war 80 years ago that today they're entitled to wage massacres, bomb busses, hijack planes, and recruit activists for a global intifada. People also believe that because 9 million Jews were displaced in WW2 and 6 million of them were exterminated and nearly another million were ethnically cleansed by Arabs, that they're entitled to no self defense or sovereignty and that “their victim card expired." This is the confluence of the racism of low expectations and raw antisemitism.

Zohran Mamdani’s decision not to attend the Israel Day Parade in NYC tells Jewish New Yorkers exactly where they stand. Politicians routinely attend events for communities whose politics they do not share. Mature leaders understand the difference between engaging constituents and endorsing every action of a foreign government. @NYCMayor is choosing not to make that distinction. At a time of record Jew-hatred, he can’t bring himself to show up for Jewish New Yorkers.

The Zionist versus anti-Zionist debate is at its core a question of whether it is better for Jews to be sovereign and strong but hated, or vulnerable and weak but liked.

Israel just published a detailed dossier on UN bias in Gaza. Most people won't read it. Here's what's in it: 🔹 OCHA undercounted aid trucks entering Gaza by nearly 10,000 vs. Israel's own records 🔹 UNRWA staff participated in Oct. 7 — the UN called it "a few bad apples" and opened no serious investigation 🔹 The IPC famine report relied on an undisclosed dataset with measurements that exceeded anything in medical literature 🔹 UN Women ignored Israeli victims entirely 🔹 The Secretary-General blacklisted the IDF while staying silent on Hamas This isn't Israel crying bias. It's a documented, agency-by-agency breakdown. Read it yourself: govextra.gov.il/un-gaza-bias

I read the UN report accusing Israel of systematic rape against Palestinians. Interestingly, according to the report, no Palestinian women were raped, but rather they were subjected to "humiliation" and "strip searches without justification" (according to whom?) All the rape allegations were from men, that's quite a strange coincidence.

My favorite thing about Mamdani avoiding the Israel parade is he attends the Pakistan one. Pakistan has: -Had fraudulent elections -Relies heavily on American military support -Ethnically cleansing 2 million Afghans -Has engaged in a well documented genocide

I think the pigheaded ignorance of the BDS movement is really illuminated best by what they did to SodaStream. An Israeli company, SodaStream was one of BDS's earliest boycotts, leading to the closure of its West Bank facility in 2015. At the time, the company was the largest private employers of Palestinians in the area, and 600 Palestinians were immediately laid off. Their Palestinian employees received the same benefits, wages, and conditions of Israelis, and all of that was lost due to BDS, who hilariously (and wrongly) claimed that SodaStream was "exploiting" Palestinians. SodaStream then moved into Israel proper and to a new plant in Lehavim, which is close to Rahat, a large Bedouin town in the Negev. The facility, like the West Bank one, employs the locals: hundreds of Bedouins, particularly Bedouin women, who otherwise lack economic opportunities. Did this satisfy BDS? Nope. They continue to boycott SodaStream entirely, claiming the factory is part of the Israeli government's plans to ethnically cleanse the Bedouins, which are Israeli citizens of Arab descent. BDS, of course, did not ask the Bedouins, who receive the same wages as Jews, guaranteed by equal rights laws that BDS pretends do not exist in Israel. Those wages are significantly higher than the average income in nearby Arab towns, and SodaStream provides benefits that are rare outside of the urban areas of Israel, like a healthcare plan, pension contributions, and daily transportation. Job satisfaction is very high. In short, these boycotts just make rich white WASP Westerners feel good. They do nothing for Palestinians or Israeli minorities.
Hen Mazzig@HenMazzig

"The stated mission of the boycott is to end apartheid, and I keep saying, what apartheid? My products are made by Israeli-Arabs, not Jewish Israelis." Seed + Mill, which makes sesame-based foods, is one of the brands that might be impacted by the new boycott of Israeli goods by the Park Slope Food Coop. The Coop voted this week to boycott all Israeli goods in a contentious vote. Another example of how these boycotts often end up harming the exact people they were meant to help.
