The problem with the Russians is that they love to talk about compromises but never make them. They only speak the language of ultimatums. They want us to withdraw from our territory which is under our control. But the reason for this demand lies in their huge losses. They think if we pull back, they won’t lose hundreds of thousands of people. While this is true, we can't withdraw. This would carry major risks for us. Russia will gain stronger positions in Ukraine, and will start preparing for further occupation. They are liars and they are playing games with President Trump. I am 100% convinced the Russians want to fully occupy us. That's why we need to stop them, reach the ceasefire, make strong security guarantees, and then move it all to diplomacy. From an interview with AP (2/3).

Two weeks ago, the Hungarian opposition was bracing for a false flag operation, an "emergency" that would allow Viktor Orban to turn the tide or even cancel an election he is losing. Now it appears to have arrived
Szabolcs Panyi@panyiszabolcs

💥What we’ve all feared is happening: Hungarian Russia expert András Rácz wrote three days ago about a potential Russia-backed false flag attack in Serbia targeting the gas pipeline to Hungary. The same information had already reached multiple journalists, including myself, weeks earlier, from sources connected to Hungarian government circles. Now Viktor Orbán has announced that Serbian president Aleksandar Vučić informed him about “explosives of devastating power” found at the gas pipeline connecting the two countries. Orbán and his propaganda machine are already amplifying the news everywhere, with the prime minister convening his security cabinet. It remains unclear what measures the government might take using this alleged false flag operation as a pretext. But if the second part of the information we received also proves true, Orbán could declare a state of emergency, significantly affecting the election campaign—which he is currently losing—and potentially disrupting the organization of the April 12 election. The opposition Tisza Party has been widening its lead to 15–20 points, if not more. Orbán accuses them of being "Ukrainian agents" for months. His propaganda would very soon link the Serbian false-flag both to Ukraine and the Tisza Party, I have no doubts about that. I encourage all foreign reporters covering the Hungarian election to pay close attention and not fall for the government’s propaganda or the narratives pushed by its pundits on the Orbán government payroll, including here on X. The situation could soon be very serious.

Israel had to keep its biggest gas platform, Leviathan, completely shut down for 32 days due to the ongoing war. Egypt and Jordan, both heavily hooked on Israeli gas, were sliding into crisis. Blackouts multiplied. Factories slowed to a crawl. Families sat in the dark. The Iranian blockade of the Strait of Hormuz had already cut off Qatari supplies, so the pressure on both Arab countries became severe. Behind closed doors, both countries quietly begged Israel to turn the gas back on. This week, Israel did exactly that. Gas is flowing again to Egypt and Jordan. Think about this: Israel had a perfect, low-risk opportunity to do exactly what the Islamic world constantly accuses it of wanting to do: destroy its Arab neighbors. A few more weeks of keeping that valve closed would have inflicted real, possibly irreversible damage. Power grids could have collapsed. Industries would have ground to a halt. Governments already struggling with their own problems would have faced furious populations looking for someone to blame. According to the propaganda drilled into every Arab and Muslim from Tehran to Cairo to Amman, the “Zionist entity” is a ruthless, genocidal power that dreams of nothing more than the destruction of Arabs and Muslims. If that was even slightly true, Israel would have seized the moment. It would have turned the energy shortage into a weapon and let Egypt and Jordan bleed out. No one could have stopped it. The decision was entirely in Israel’s hands. Instead, Israel did the opposite. It absorbed its own heavy losses, weighed the risks, and turned the gas back on. Even while fighting a war, it chose to remain a stable supplier to countries that are, at best, cold-peace partners, and at worst, occasional enablers of the very forces trying to destroy it. This is the complete opposite of the bloodlust that Islamic propaganda constantly projects onto Jews.

The UAE classifies CAIR as a terrorist organization—but the U.S. does not. The same group the UAE banned in 2014 for ties to extremism is still lobbying U.S. lawmakers and shaping policy today. Let that sink in.

It’s as if people who believe in this conspiracy have never heard of Occam’s Razor. To believe Israel is fundamentally expansionist, you need to weave together a mosaic of different ad hoc explanations, using each one to plug the holes in the theory to account for each time Israel did something that is non-expansionist and you have to invent intentions. Israel withdraws from the Sinai in 1982? They say it’s purely due to American pressure. Israel grants autonomy to the PA over most of the WB? The PA is a Zionist subcontractor. Israel withdraws from Lebanon? It desperately wanted to stay and annex but it was kicked out. Israel withdraws from Gaza? Was just a trick to turn Gaza into an “open air prison.” Israel currently holding territory in Syria and Lebanon? Has nothing to do with defensive buffers and Israel plans on annexing. The point is that you need to find some acrobatic explanation for each individual instance, because each one of them pokes a hole in the theory. If Israel’s ambitions were truly expansionist, why would it have withdrawn from territory again and again? There is a simpler explanation: Israel does not have an expansive agenda. People seem to forget that the simplest explanation is often the correct one. If you have to concoct a different explanation to account for each observation or if each of observation is an exception and you’re left with many exceptions, then your theory is probably flawed.
Joseph Nichol@Jsp_Nic

No one can ever actually explain why if Israel is an “expansionist colonial endeavor” to establish “Greater Israel,” it has not actually expanded in size, and, in fact, gave back land in 1982.

it seems they pulled it off. hopefully trump sees this as enough of a victory and looks for a negotiated offramp instead of feeling emboldened to invade w boots on the ground.

Fox News can confirm that the 2nd crew member of the downed F15E fighter jet has been rescued and he and the members of the rescue team that extracted him from behind enemy lines in Iran are all safely out of Iran. That according to two senior US officials and multiple well placed sources in the region. The Weapons Systems Officer ejected along with the pilot when their F15E Strike Eagle they were flying was struck Thursday night (early Friday local time) in southwest Iran.  The WSO used the SERE (Survival, Evasion, Resistance, and Escape) training to evade capture, hiding on an elevated ridge after hiking away from the wreckage and putting out an emergency beacon.) US Special Operations rescue forces to include PJs (United States Air Force Pararescuemen (PJs) and many layers of elite rescue forces took part in the complex, layered mission to both find the crew member and also keep the Iranian forces who were hunting the American weapons system operator at bay. There are videos that have appeared from local eyewitnesses that show what appear to have been  injured and dead Iranian members of the IRGC and Basij who were looking for the downed American crew member. Fox has learned there was fighting on the ground but no Americans killed during the operation. “It was a very complex operation to retrieve the downed service member,” a well placed source briefed on the operation told me. Many different branches of the US military were involved in the rescue. Fox News can confirm the A10 Warthog that crashed Friday was involved in providing cover for the rescue teams searching for the pilot. That A10 crashed in Kuwait (first reported by ABC Friday) but the A10 pilot managed to eject safely and was rescued. There was destruction of aircraft which have sensitive equipment on board, I am told, all part of this complex CSAR (Combat Search and Rescue) mission. The F15E was pretty much destroyed on impact. Two rescue helicopters were hit by enemy fire on  Friday and crew members onboard were injured by enemy fire but managed to make it out of Iran. There were a lot of elements to this rescue, I am told.

🚨A senior Trump administration official told me that prior to locating the weapons systems officer and the U.S. military rescue operation, the CIA first launched a deception campaign spreading word inside Iran that U.S. forces had already found him and were moving him on the ground for exfiltration out of the country 🚨The official said the CIA used its unique capabilities to search for - and find - the weapons systems officer. "This was the ultimate needle in a haystack but in this case it was a brave American soul inside a mountain crevice, invisible but for CIA's capabilities", the official said 🚨According to the official the CIA immediately shared the pilot's exact location with the Pentagon, the U.S. military and The White House 🚨The President ordered an immediate rescue mission, which the Pentagon executed, with the CIA continuing to provide real time information in support of this mission, the official said

@OldCdnGuy Because I’m happy a downed WSO is alive? Because I’m proud of the US military for never leaving a person behind? Compare it with Russia. They drag mobile crematoriums with them in combat and either leave or incinerate their soldiers.

If you’re lost behind enemy lines, we will move heaven and earth to try and bring you home alive. If we can’t do that, we’ll move heaven and earth to bring you home anyway. That’s the promise, and it’s non-negotiable. I’ve been worried about the WSO all day. Glad he’s safe.

@AngryInAGoodWay @gifking71 Sure. They found where he evaded to, got in a firefight to get him out. Then they landed at a refueling point to put everyone on transport aircraft to leave Iran, but the aircraft got stuck in the sand. They brought more aircraft, blew up the stuck ones and went back to base.

🚨 MEET AHMAD ZEESHAN. 32 years old.
Miami Beach, Florida.
April 2nd, 2026. Imagine this nightmare. A peaceful afternoon at the park.
A loving Jewish dad with his 7 year old and 5 year old. Ahmad spots them. Walks up and sneers: “Are you guys Jewish?” The father says yes and Zeeshan explodes with raw, vicious hatred. He screams they are “dirty people.” Threatens to violently attack the father right in front of his kids. Refuses to back down even after the dad draws his legally carried firearm. Police arrest him and Zeeshan openly boasts: “I’m Muslim and I do not like Jews.” Then claims it is just “First Amendment rights.” The judge called it exactly what it is: “Disgusting.” Charged with assault motivated by religious prejudice. A hate crime under Florida law.
Bond: $5,000. He hunted a Jewish family in a public park. Deliberately traumatizing tiny children because of who they are. During Passover. In America. In 2026. Don’t look away.
