@Ann_imal Well done on finding secondhandsongs. I only knew as some of my old early 90s greatest hits of ABBA, etc, went to them via about 6 other media companies! Instrumental versions.

Looking for a bubblegum pop/rock song for the closing credits of my upcoming short film, “Heartless.” “Sugar Sugar” by the Archies is the vibe (but that one is sadly out of budget). Would love to find a band/musician who’s up for licensing a song to a student film!

@composerSD Thank you! I’ll check those out. I’ve been talking to secondhandsongs about licensing the original but they said it would be $4K, which is about the whole budget of the film. 😞 But I’ll look into the other options you mentioned!

@Ann_imal Look up secondhandsongs.com they are experts at licensing exact cover copies of songs. I believe. Look up uk band The Sweet. They have a bunch. I suggest Wig Wam Bam. Enjoy.
