Booking sites (OTAs) give you the worst rooms in a hotel The best rooms go to members of the hotel loyalty programs Before I book directly I always sign up to their site and you're a member Just being a member when you check-in gets you the best rooms and upgrades if available
Chris De David@ChrisDeDavid1

@levelsio Why not use a site like Booking com?

@Molson_Hart Routinely ship LCL between various destinations Never pay rates that high, but perhaps outbound from VN / CN is now high… you’re benching to CN anyway Anyway, sorry if offense. Can oftentimes get air cargo at that price, but realize it’s a bit apples-oranges for weight vs vol

@Antropysm Not when you realize that we're not charging CFS fees and the MOQ is 1 CBM. Tell me what smells like bullshit. We can put $10,000 in escrow with a mutually agrreed third party and if I am bullshitting, you can take our $10k.

Do you need to ship from Vietnam to the USA? We opened an end-to-end turnkey logistics service between Hanoi/Ho Chi Minh and Los Angeles. - We will pick up in Vietnam - We will ship (less than a container is no problem) - We will get it to where it needs to go in the USA And if something goes wrong, you tell me publicly. I will stand by the quality of our service. Anywhere in Vietnam to Los Angeles is $150/CBM this month. Direct service. Departs every week. 15 days port to port. It’s not LCL. We’re bypassing the headaches and bullshit, getting you your goods fast, easy, and cheap. And we can deliver to Amazon. So if you need to move goods from Vietnam and the USA, reply and let’s do some business!

🚨 THE CANCER PROTOCOL WHICH EVERYONE IS SHARING IN PRIVATE This is an integrative cancer protocol which is driving massive attention right now. It blends repurposed medications, targeted nutrients, and metabolic support into one multi-angle approach. Why it's getting attention: · Repurposed agents aimed at cancer metabolism and signaling. · Immune and liver support layered in from day one. · Anti-inflammatory and anti-melastatic compounds work together. · Nutrition and fasting are used as chemosenitizers. This is not guesswork; this is pure science, and we share this information regularly. #Ivermectin #Fenbendazole #Mebendazole #Cancer #PharmacyinUSA

The information edge has been democratized. The workflow edge hasn’t. 1) Imagine a 55-year-old PM who still has his assistant print Street research, asks his analyst to tweak the model after last week’s sell-side lunch, watches @CNBC, downloads the book into Excel, and adjusts risk after Monday’s IC. By 5pm, he’s at dinner with his prime broker. 2) Now imagine an investor who ingests every sell-side note, tweet, Substack, and podcast in real time. He uses cheap software, AI, and agents that never sleep. He’s digitally native, always on, and armed with the pattern recognition of his 55-year-old mentor, and trades assets that are open 24/7/365. Who are you betting on?

So the easter egg: $MSFT Quantum appears to be an undisclosed hyperscaler... That is secretly buying from a company that sounds with Prime Ribs according to LinkedIn tracking. -> Microsoft Quantum posted photos -> Zoom in to top left and magnified -> Prime Ribs machine checks out? It's a duopoly in the MBE space with $VECO for quantum machines (think $AXIA for photonics but for Quantum). They reported earnings today: -> It's profitable. ~25 P/E ratio after ER release. -> Very healthy balance sheet -> Used for adjacents, like silicon photonics (eg. Fujitsu's quantum dot spinoff) -> IntelliEPI (aside from $MSFT) well known buyer Some followers reached out about this name (not taking any credit for DD or finding it). Disclosure: I found their ideas interesting and have positions. -> Full Credit to @latent_value7 finding $MSFT links -> Credit to @TheSarge_ for bringing the name to my attention early on A reminder: Even though I share these cool ideas, I don't recommend anyone take positions based on my posts. I'm just impressed that people on X found that a hyperscaler buying from a tiny company for their frontier quantum program.

Turns out... Easter egg hunting works in stocks as well? Can't believe one of my followers found the undisclosed supplier of a T1 hyperscaler like $NVDA or $GOOGL by: -> Looking at an executive's from LinkedIn posts. -> Magnified the edges of one of their posted photo by 5x -> Found one of the machines that looked distinct enough to identify -> Traced the color scheme of a machine back to a small company -> Identified the undisclosed supplier. I'm genuinely impressed.

India recently moved its gold from UK to home but why did France sell in New York & buy in Europe instead of just shipping the bars? The 129 tonnes France held in New York were non standard legacy bars, relics from the late 1920s that did not meet modern good delivery purity/weight specifications. Shipping dirty/non standard bars involves massive insurance, security, & then refining costs to bring them up to modern standards. By selling the sub par bars at record high prices in the US ($5600/oz peak in early 2026) & buying modern, high purity bars in Europe, the BdF turned a €7.7 billion loss from 2024 into an €8.1 billion net profit for 2025. They essentially got paid billions to upgrade their jewelry.
Globe Eye News@GlobeEyeNews

BREAKING: France sold its gold stored in New York and purchased an equivalent amount in Europe. All of France’s gold reserves are now located in Paris.

Not enough attention is being paid to the fact that the NSA will have unimpeded access to every corporate and government system on earth for the next 12-24 months as a function of its exclusive access to unconstrained Mythos+ models. The gap between open source and closed is about to widen substantially as national security will be cited as an excuse for anti-distillation and whitelisting.

This is Positano, Italy. You can retire there and benefit from the 7% flat tax retirement in Italy. It's 7% tax universally on foreign income, dividends, capital gains. To qualify, you need a monthly disbursed pension, private or public. No age limit. This lasts 10 years. It's one hour away from a larger city. There are surely trade-offs to consider, but I could hardly think of a more beautiful place.

@stefanroberts @juliamacfarlane Based on government website, if earning on £125k pa, income would be £78k after tax, not sure how that’s 62% exactly…i’d love to have take home pay of £78k!!!!!

It's just insane that a person with no children earning between £100-125k pays an effective marginal tax rate of 62% in the UK. If you do have kids you're actually worse off earning over 100k than you would be below it with childcare subsidies.
