@Pimpinellia You talked to a Ducks fan and determined they don’t know Puck? Have you checked the comments on the Flyers pages lately. Hockey I gnorance found a home in Philly.

The thing about a lot of Ducks fans is they don’t follow the NHL as a whole which is fine. The issue is they act like they do. I went to Anaheim and had conversations with fans and they don’t know puck. One said Jamie was the best defenseman The Flyers had since Mike Richards.

I genuinely believe if people who hate Mormons just read the book of Mormon with an open mind and open heart. (Not even to convert to it or anything like just read it) They would actually kind of like it and be fascinated by it.. like this book kinda rocks

If you think Joseph Smith was a conman, or a pedophile, or a charlatan, then chances are you’ve probably never read a single biography on his life.

Can you believe in the Book of Mormon without believing its message that God gave some people dark skin so they wouldn’t be attractive to white people?

All Pat Verbeek has to do is use his head. 4 , FOUR 1st round picks. It’s well worth it for Leo Carlsson. 67 points is not worth $18,000,000. In what world is he worth that much

Anaheim Ducks have cap space and the wealthiest owner in the #NHL in Henry Samueli. It’s a no brainer to match

@andystrickland Lol it’s a cap sport dude. And Flyers are owned by one of the biggest media companies in the entire world. Little company called Comcast, that pretty much owns the city of Philadelphia.

What are Sennecke and Gauthier thinking rn? If he’s getting 18 I’m not signing for half that. The Ducks whole future just got nuked

Verbeek is now in a position where his overall roster building strategy and decision-making has been hijacked. When all the deals are done, Carlsson, Sennecke, Gauthier, and LaCombe will account for roughly $50M of the cap. Tough to build the rest when you're so top heavy.

@snepsts_dev @ameier6775 The issue is his hockey IQ is around 70. He kills almost every play unless he just shoots. He’s great at shootouts though. Too bad he has to actually play in the games.

@ameier6775 Is the issue that he's got excess weight? I'm still worried about his speed but his hands are pretty sick.

What if Mason McTavish drops a bunch of weight, shows up to camp ready to go, gets a jolt of new energy playing in front of an actually rabid hockey market (sorry, Anaheim) — and just goes off, kicking ass and taking names. 🤔 Fuck that’d be awesome. #STLBlues

@ameier6775 It was discussed right after the trade during the draft that Blues had talked with McT - and he has already started working on his conditioning as well as skating. Being traded was a wake-up call. He'll either improve or see his value continue to drop.

Army on what McTavish needs: "I think consistency. I think that's one thing you always want to strive to have the valley rise up closest to the ceiling. But he's just 23 years old so he's got such a wide runway ahead of him. I think when you're drafted in the area that he was drafted to an organization (like Anaheim), he probably got into the league quicker than most. So you're sort of learning on the fly there and we're excited for all the gray matter that he's picked up in such a short period of time. It's our job to give him the platform to be the best he can be. I know the work that we've done on the background -- what he's doing, how he's doing it, what he wants to accomplish. When I talked to him tonight, he's extremely excited about a new opportunity, coming here and solidifying his position in the league and certainly his position on this team." #stlblues

@jesse_k_fox @BlackBlessedLDS Yes, and by 1838 Cowdery had left the church, somewhat involuntarily, in part for making a big deal about Joseph’s relationship with Fanny Alger. Interesting they had to pull a curtain so no one else in the temple could see Jesus. Yet no one else heard Him.

Two men claimed they saw Jesus Christ, in the same room, at the same time. In 1836, in the Kirtland Temple, Joseph Smith and Oliver Cowdery testified that they saw the risen Christ together. They recorded that Jesus appeared to them and accepted the house of the Lord. It was a shared witness in the same sacred moment and neither ever retracted that testimony.

@AutisticTrout @Lily98525939978 @chidote1 @nicoraytruth Therefore, Brigham Young, John Taylor, and a load of other important leaders of the Brighamite branch are fraudsters and liars. I don’t think it’s the upgrade you are hoping for. I’ll stick with Joseph being a polygamist who publicly misled others.

I’ll say what a Mormon can’t. John Dehlin is complete trash. There is something obscene about making a career out of people at the exact moment their faith is breaking. Dehlin didn’t stumble onto the spiritual crises of mormons. He built a machine on top of them, turned the worst night of someone’s interior life into an episode, a download, a recurring donation. And a man whose audience grows every time someone walks away is not a neutral physician at the bedside. He has a stake in the disease. Follow the money, a steady harvest of the wounded, dressed up as liberation.

@nicoraytruth If members are walking away from the truth, you might have a point. If they’re walking away from an organization that has historically been much less than truthful, then your point is moot. Follow the money indeed….to Ensign Peak.

It’s lowkey disrespectful to bear your testimony in a language nobody in the congregation understands. I don’t care that you served your mission in XYZ, I want to hear your dang testimony. Stop making it about you and make it about Jesus.

When we got married, we said "We'll wait until we graduate to have children." But, in reality, both of us knew we wanted kids. We weren't expecting it to come so soon (we've only been married for 4 months), but it couldn't be a more perfect time. Are we scared? Yes, absolutely. Are we ready? Maybe. But do we have faith in each other, ourselves, and our Heavenly Father? The most we've ever had. This child may not come into the world with parents who have everything figured out, but he/she will have a mom and a dad who love him/her more than anything. If you want to leave some pregnancy/parenting advice in the comments, we would both appreciate it. And your prayers for this baby's health would mean even more. We are SO EXCITED to begin this great adventure and fulfill the purpose of life! "The most powerful way to change the world is to raise good kids." - Dennis Prager
