USCIRF’s credibility is severely undermined if it claims to defend religious freedom while its vice chair, Dr. Asif Mahmood, is accused of anti-Hindu and anti-Sikh hate. Such conduct appears inconsistent with the principles the commission is expected to uphold and raises serious concerns about bias and hypocrisy. It is difficult to trust USCIRF when its senior leadership is alleged to have displayed such appalling bigotry. #USCIRF

Congratulations to British Hindu Bodhana Sivanandan for rising to No. 1 in British women’s chess at only 11. Bodhana Sivanandan, aged 11, has become Great Britain’s No. 1 women’s chess player, overtaking four-time British Women’s Champion Lan Yao, and she has also entered the world’s top 100 women for the first time. Her FIDE rating is 2366, and her rise has been driven by strong results in France, Austria, and the 4NCL league. She is Indian-origin, based in North London, and began playing during the COVID lockdown after finding a chessboard her father was about to throw away. #BritishHindus #Chess

Hindu in Bangladesh being publicly humiliated by alleged Jamaat-e-Islami militants. Muhammad Yunus leads Bangladesh's interim government. Since Yunus took over, Islamist groups are running rife. This is the life of minorities in Muslim countries.

From late August to late September 2022, Hindus, their homes, cars and Hindu temples in Leicester were targeted and attacked by Islamist mobs. Violent attacks and vandalism of homes over 3 consecutive nights on the 4th, 5th and 6th of September 2022 left the Hindu community in Leicester afraid for their safety. What followed were two weeks of false narratives and disinformation being filed against innocent Hindus by radical Islamists. Rumours were spread on social media, and violence was incited against Hindus in Leicester. Here is a breakdown of the false claims and facts. #leicesterriots #LeicesterViolence #HindusUnderAttackInUK #Islamists #BritishHindus @BBCLeicester @Leicestermedia @leicslive @leicspolice @ITVCentral

“The UAE don’t want their kids to be radicalised on campus” - UAE Official. The UAE has restricted scholarships and funding for students heading to UK universities due to rising fears of Muslim Brotherhood radicalization on campuses. Emirati officials cite Islamist influences infiltrating student societies at places like LSE and King’s College London, with 70 students flagged for potential deradicalization last year-nearly double the prior figure. This UAE move spotlights the UK government’s reluctance to ban the Muslim Brotherhood, despite a 2015 review deeming its ideology contrary to British values and repeated UAE pressure since 2011. Under PM Keir Starmer, officials keep it under “close review” without action, allowing unchecked Islamist speakers and events on campuses amid doubling radical referrals. UAE views Brotherhood networks as terrorist threats promoting sharia extremism via student groups. It has non-recognized UK degrees, making them worthless for UAE careers, slashing their appeal. It has once again opened the debate on UK inaction and soft stance in allowing Islamist networks to thrive unchecked. This is tarnishing the UK’s global reputation as a safe education hub and driving away top global talent.

Elon Musk on his advice for young people: "Try to be useful. Do things that are useful to your fellow human beings, to the world. It's very hard to be useful. Very hard." Elon's core philosophy comes down to one question. As he puts it: "Are you contributing more than you consume? Can you try to have a positive net contribution to society? I think that's the thing to aim for. Not to try to be a leader for the sake of being a leader or whatever." He continues: "A lot of times the people you want as leaders are the people who don't want to be leaders. If you live a useful life, that is a good life, a life worth having lived." On how to become useful: "Read a lot of books. Just read. Try to ingest as much information as you can and try to develop a good general knowledge. Try to learn a little about a lot of things because you might not know what you're really interested in if you aren't doing peripheral exploration of the knowledge landscape." His approach? Read broadly: "As a kid, I read through the encyclopedia. That's pretty helpful. Things I didn't even know existed. Maybe read through the condensed version of the Encyclopedia Britannica. You can always skip subjects—read a few paragraphs and if you're not interested, just jump to the next one." Then find the overlap: "Try to find something where there's an overlap of your talents and what you're interested in. You want a good combination of things that you're inherently good at, but you also like doing." On mindset: "Make sure you don't have a zero-sum mindset. If you have a zero-sum mindset, then the only way to get ahead is by taking things from others. But the pie is not fixed. The economic pie has grown dramatically over time. Work on adding to the economic pie. Create more than you consume." Contribution beats competition.

The situation in Bangladesh is very concerning. Religious freedoms should be protected and the murders of Hindus and persecution taking place are wrong and must stop. The UK Government must use its influence and convening powers to work to bring about stability in Bangladesh and a future where religious freedoms are protected and Hindus as safe. Indian origin households lead as the UK’s wealthiest ethnic group, as per a report by LSE, with median wealth jumping from £93,000 from 2012/14 to 2021/23—outpacing others through hard work, homeownership and smart investments. Model Minority Excellence This success crowns them top taxpayers, pouring billions into UK coffers via progressive income taxes on earnings over £50,270, without leaning on social welfare benefits; instead, they contribute far more as self-reliant achievers. Majid Freeman has been convicted for a racially aggravated public order offence linked to the Leicester riots, where a court found he used abusive words intending to provoke violence. Despite this, CAGE is ‘victim flipping’ and running a campaign that presents him as a persecuted community defender, downplaying his actions that fed anti‑Hindu sentiments in a city already on edge experiencing violence. Why is CAGE, a group with a long history of defending extremists now mobilising support for someone whose actions worsened hate and fear for Hindus in Leicester? @INSIGHTLeicestr #BritishHindus #Leicester
