Byron Donalds kept quiet for months as the RINOs in the legislature opposed the strong measures proposed by governor DeSantis. Donalds stayed quiet as the legislature's weak immigration bill was debated and even passed by the state legislature. Donalds stayed quiet while governor DeSantis was out there fighting against it everyday trying to get a stronger bill passed. Donalds stayed quiet while the Republican grassroots was calling out the legislature and fighting against the weak bill and supporting governor DeSantis's stronger measures. Donalds stayed quiet as conservative legislators fought against the weak bill. This interview was the first time and ONLY TIME Donalds spoke regarding the bill and this was only after governor DeSantis promised to veto it. He was asked, and he had no choice but to respond. Listen to his weak response. 1) He didn't really take a strong stance against the RINO's weak bill. He didn't even say he opposed the bill or that they should pass governor DeSantis's stronger measures. He just criticized one aspect of it. He only criticized the part that would have given power to the Commissioner of Agriculture. That was the only part of the bill that wasn't controversial to oppose and that's why he chose to focus on that one aspect. Actually, there were bigger problems with the legislature's weak bill such as it didn't require state and local law enforcement to enforce immigration laws and it didn't stop catch and release and the legislature was refusing to add these strong enforcement measures. As a matter of fact, Notice that in the interview Donalds doesn't mention any of that. 2) He says in the interview that the legislature and governor DeSantis needed to quickly come to an agreement. But, he didn't give a clear answer as to what that agreement should be. He was only concerned that the agreement needed to be reached quickly to make it easier on the federal government and Congress because the Democrats were going to criticize them about not having enough beds for the illegal aliens. Byron Donalds was a gubernatorial candidate at the time. It was a moment that tested his ability to stand with Floridians in favor of a strong bill to implement real immigration enforcement and deportations. It was a moment to show what he would have done if he were the governor of Florida in DeSantis's place. It was moment to show if he was strong enough to stand up to RINOs and the establishment in the legislature. He failed the test miserably! He didn't speak up until he had no choice and after he tested in which direction the wind was blowing. He took no stance against a weak bill. He showed he's just another politician. He showed he's weak and unable to stand up against RINOs in the state legislature. He proved that he doesn't listen to the base. Most importantly, he failed to LEAD! Thank God our governor at the time was DeSantis because thanks to his leadership, he vetoed the weak bill and ensured that the legislature pass a strong immigration bill that, by the way, without it, we would have never had Alligator Alcatraz. The Charlotte NC high school that painted over a student's tribute to Charlie Kirk, called the police on her, and then publicly branded the 16-year-old girl a VANDAL in front of her entire school... ...has just been forced to pay her $95,000!!!!!! Her name is Gabby Stout, she was a junior at Ardrey Kell High School. Days after Charlie Kirk was assass*nated, she got PERMISSION from the front office to paint the school's spirit rock, a tradition kids have used for years. She painted a heart. An American flag. "Freedom 1776." And "Live Like Kirk ... John 11:25." Within HOURS, the school painted over it.
