@Keir_Starmer don’t consider folding Kier. Stick with the project. Lean on Brown and Harmen, need some headline left wing policies though. One or two. Imho
English

@Keir_Starmer Now you’ve Brown and Harmen on board can we see a drift to the left? I thought great British energy was a great idea, what happened to that? Keep it up Kier, in the elections are won in the UK by a few key marginals, you’ve got time to run this around.

@DanMasterton @heygurisingh Why he should have said is Architects are going to love this!
English

@heygurisingh Architects design buildings in line with a brief and environments. It’s not just about making pretty models in 3D.
Would you let someone with no experience that can use a web app build you a home?
I think not.
English

🚨Architects are going to hate this.
Someone just open sourced a full 3D building editor that runs entirely in your browser.
No AutoCAD. No Revit. No $5,000/year licenses.
It's called Pascal Editor.
Built with React Three Fiber and WebGPU -- meaning it renders directly on your GPU at near-native speed.
Here's what's inside this thing:
→ A full building/level/wall/zone hierarchy you can edit in real time
→ An ECS-style architecture where every object updates through GPU-powered systems
→ Zustand state management with full undo/redo built in
→ Next.js frontend so it deploys as a web app, not a desktop install
→ Dirty node tracking -- only re-renders what changed, not the whole scene
Here's the wildest part:
You can stack, explode, or solo individual building levels. Select a zone, drag a wall, reshape a slab -- all in 3D, all in the browser.
Architecture firms pay $50K+ per seat for BIM software that does this workflow.
This is free.
100% Open Source.

Have empathy for the victims, not those who inflict pain on others
Resist the Mainstream@ResisttheMS
WATCH: Elon Musk points out that "the fundamental moral flaw of the left is empathy for the criminals and not empathy for the victims." "It's undermining the people's faith in the legal system. It needs to stop."

@MayorofLondon here’s a vote winner. The underlay allowance. A fund for Londoners to have an extra layer of underlay when they carpet. I’ve just done it in my flat and it’s lovely.
English

@crypto_dragonz Stupid question. We are billions worse off, and we (those of us who actually know because we actually do the knowledge instead of just doing Facebook) knew we would be. Those whose believed the £300m bus advert were conned. No judgement here.
English

@AngelaRayner good work on Radio 4 this morning. What a tedious interview though. Being pressed for deadlines..
English

@stephen_wolfram would you say that because I have travelled the world my “ruliad” is in some way larger?
English

@elonmusk @jk_rowling I’m amazed that neither of you chose a career in paediatrics, clearly you are both in the wrong jobs.
English

Well, @jk_rowling is absolutely right!
Almost every child goes through some kind of identity crisis during puberty. It is deeply wrong to make them permanently infertile with “puberty blockers”.
If they still wish to transition as adults, provided they are fully informed of the risks, they can then make decisions as consenting adults.
The Rabbit Hole@TheRabbitHole
Considering that children often do grow out of it, JK Rowling would be correct here.

@Jasontcoe @mrjamesob It’s like the whole world is rigged against the losers.
English

@mrjamesob The reason they have two rounds of voting over there is so they can rig the second round
French citizens end up voting for people they don’t even want in just to keep people out they don’t want but not enthusiastic of the person they have to vote for
“Democracy” eh
English

@mrjamesob hi James, I’m from Witney, David Cameron’s old stomping ground, just researched it and found 1 in 7 kids on free school meals. That’s 14% of families in Witney surviving in less than £142 a week. If it’s this bad in Witney, what must it be like elsewhere?

@dailystoic Procrastination is the enemy of progress.
Seize the day, take action now - tomorrow's not guaranteed.
English

@DividendIncome_ @dailystoic Stoics are not normal, generally most people’s opinions are less considered than ours. Therefore consider carefully before caring about someone’s thought. Imho.
English

@dailystoic Caring what other people think is normal.
But it shouldn't dictate your actions.
Learn to care more about your opinion of yourself than others' opinions of you.
That's true freedom.
English

@dailystoic one of my methods to get through the difficulties of everyday life is to remain focused on the horizon. Think: “where do I want to be in 6 months” don’t be distracted by the little things, keep a steady hand on the tiller and navigate your life like a boat.
English

@dailystoic Think: what am I doing now? Does it have value, will I reap a benefit?
