China leads in nearly every single energy and power production sector. They do not *need* oil. Their self sufficiency and power generation is unprecedented and unmatched. And they have the industrial capacity, raw material supply chains, and skilled labor to produce the technology and infrastructure necessary for all the relevant energy systems like solar panels, turbines, batteries, transmission lines, etc. So while America is fucking up the oil market for its citizens and for most of the world, China is producing literally like 100x more electricity at significantly lower cost for its population that is largely able to get by with high speed rail, EVs, and cheap renewable energy. This also fits into China's strategy to dominate in EVs, solar batteries, and exporting electricity to insulate from oil and gas shocks caused by geopolitical events. Chinaman wins, get mogged bucko.

Food for thought.
Yes, the New Great Game is unfolding.
No nation stands to gain more from a closure of the Strait of Hormuz than the United States, across the short, medium, and long term.
This logic is embedded in President Trump’s National Security Strategy, with the Trump Doctrine now visible in practice. Strategically, China loses on multiple fronts with Hormuz closed: seaborne Middle Eastern supplies are constrained just as Venezuelan crude is increasingly redirected toward the U.S. Gulf Coast on short, politically secure routes. At the same time, the Strait of Malacca, and with it, the broader Malacca Dilemma, moves to the center of gravity. In parallel, the Sunda, Lombok, Makassar, and Mindoro Straits remain critical arteries for Chinese trade and energy flows.
Together, they constitute the geographic chokepoints of Beijing’s vulnerability, and Washington is acutely aware of this. Yes, the New Great Game is unfolding, and Wall Street has yet to comprehend the consequences.

@0xhyperfury @DrJStrategy Right……and delivery via the ocean of those products is safe and secure…….? Right dude
English

@DrJStrategy China is winning in the sense that the demand for EVs and solar cells are skyrocketing though
English

@squidsee @DrJStrategy Ocean transport of oil is by far the cheapest and that plus losing discounts on Iranian and Venezuelan oil will really hurt China much more than all others.
They built a refinery just for Venezuelan crude that is in mothballs
English

@DrJStrategy There dozens of other major sources of oil for China and they have more ability to pay for it than many other countries. The idea that they are uniquely vulnerable to rising oil prices is a fantasy.

@benzedrine76820 @DrJStrategy Chinas navy does not have the range or logistics to support operations that far from the homeland. You don’t understand how dominate US Navy logistics are

@My2Cents0101 @DrJStrategy China, for cheap oil and alot of it, funded the mullahs killing untold numbers of their own people in Iran, soon to be Persia (and soon to be staunch US ally)

And what exactly has China done to deserve this hostile behavior by Trump? Is Trump just jealous that China is advancing technologically and economicly more than America? So, instead of fixing the issues in america that allow this to happen here decides to cut the oil to china?? No wonder why america is losing the respect of the world and the American people. Maybe if Trump actually made america great again then we would be able to stay ahead of China without conflicts.

@MiloshOffical @DrJStrategy China is in big trouble on energy, it’s obvious and the orange man is smarter than you think

Wow, tis is quite the stretch I must say. This “New Great Game / Trump Doctrine / master chessboard” framing is doing Olympic-level mental gymnastics to turn basic geopolitics into a superhero origin story. Sorry but there 's no hidden genius blueprint by Trump here. No elegant “Trump Doctrine” quietly orchestrating global chokepoints like he's this 5D chess grandmaster. That’s not analysis, it’s narrative inflation.
I keep hearing from "experts" that closing the Strait of Hormuz is a clean strategic win for the United States but is flat-out detached from reality. It’s one of the most important energy arteries on the planet. Block it and you don’t get some neat adversary-specific advantag you get global oil shock, market panic, and domestic blowback included. That’s not strategy, that’s self-inflicted chaos.
And the obsession with turning Donald Trump into some hidden geopolitical architect is honestly just lazy storytelling. Donald Trump never operated with this kind of coherent, multi-layered global design. His policy approach is reactive, transactional, and often contradictory, not some meticulously engineered grand system spanning Malacca to Hormuz.
As for the claim that China is somehow neatly cornered by a perfectly mapped web of straits and vulnerabilities that’s not strategy, that’s PowerPoint geopolitics. China has diversified energy routes, pipelines, reserves, and alternative suppliers precisely to avoid is kind of simplistic chokepoint dependency narrative. And the Venezuela angle being floated as some smooth geopolitical pressure valve? That’s just wishful thinking layered on top of weak infrastructure reality in Venezuela which all the USA Energy Major have said they will not invest Billions in restorations.
So no, this isn’t “the New Great Game unfolding.” It’s a retrofitted story trying to turn messy, often inconsistent global policy into the fantasy of a single mastermind pulling all the strings.

@Cool_Ustaz Wow. How the world has changed. The voice of reason comes from China while the voice of chaotic instability comes from the US. We did this to ourselves. Trump must GO!

BREAKING: 🇨🇳 President of China, Xi Jinping:
“A certain country, obsessed with maintaining its hegemony, has done everything possible to cripple emerging markets and developing nations. Whoever progresses rapidly becomes a target of containment; whoever catches up becomes a threat. But all of this is futile. The world we live in today is a community with a shared future. People do not want a new Cold War; they want a world of lasting peace and universal security."

I called this.
China will absolutely not stand by as America blockades the gulf.
If you make a bold (stupid) statement that you will blockade, you have two, maybe three choices.
1. You hold the line and take the ships that violate it
2. You bluff, someone calls you on it, and now you look weak
3. You TACO and say you won the blockade
English

China is aggressively challenging the American naval blockade.
The People's Liberation Army Navy just deployed a heavily armed task force to the Gulf of Oman.
Beijing explicitly stated they will not allow Washington to dictate their global energy security.
Chinese destroyers are preparing to actively escort their own mega-tankers right to the edge of the US kill box.
A massive, direct standoff between American and Chinese naval assets is developing just outside the Strait.

An urgent phone call from Saudi Crown Prince MBS changed Trump’s decision at the last minute:
President Trump had intended to declare a complete ceasefire and end the fighting against Iran in exchange for the immediate opening of the Strait of Hormuz.
However, a tense phone call with Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman dramatically changed the plan.
According to White House sources, bin Salman begged Trump not to stop the war:
“This is a historic opportunity – we must finish the job and weaken the Iranian regime once and for all.”
In exchange for continuing the fighting, Saudi Arabia offered an unprecedented package of economic and strategic incentives.
Key points in the offer:
• $100 billion transferred directly to finance American war costs
• Full and immediate normalization with Israel after the fall of the regime
• Direct oil pipeline from Saudi Arabia to the port of Ashdod, turning Israel into a major energy hub
• Investment of approximately $1 trillion in the U.S. economy + purchase of $500 billion in American weapons
• Establishment of a new regional defense alliance, including Israel, Saudi Arabia, and other moderate countries under an American umbrella
• Joint naval force to control the Strait of Hormuz and Bab el-Mandeb
• Funding of strategic U.S. bases in Israel
• Joint reconstruction fund for a post-regime “secular and moderate” Iran
In the end, Trump announced a temporary ceasefire, not an end to the war as was expected.
Senior diplomatic sources describe the move as “a historic turning point” marking the beginning of a new regional order.

MAGA thinks Europe can't defend itself without America. Here's what they don't know.
1. France and Britain have 515 nuclear warheads and 8 nuclear missile submarines.
2. European defence spending hit €481 billion this year. That's more than Russia and China spend combined. The EU's ReArm Europe plan is mobilising another €800 billion.
3. European countries have over 1.7 million active troops. Russia has 1.3 million.
4. EU and UK air forces fly over 1,400 combat aircraft. Their navies have five aircraft carriers, over 60 submarines, more than 120 frigates and destroyers.
5. Europe has over 6,000 artillery pieces and that's before the biggest rearmament wave since the Cold War. Poland alone is adding 212 new howitzers.
6. The British SAS invented modern special forces. The US copied them to build Delta Force. From France's Foreign Legion to Poland's GROM, Europe's elite units are among the deadliest on earth.
7. Europe already has joint military commands ready to fight. The UK leads a 10-nation rapid reaction force across Northern Europe and the Arctic. Finland alone can mobilise 900,000 trained reservists all prepared to fight in arctic conditions.
8. Europe has its own satellite navigation (Galileo), its own defence programme (75 active projects) and is building its own rapid deployment force.
The "helpless Europe" story was never about defence.
It was about keeping Europe dependent and buying American weapons, relying on American intelligence, following American foreign policy.
Thanks to Trump, that now ends.

🚨 CHILE SIDES WITH ARGENTINA ON THE FALKLANDS
Chile has officially declared its support for Argentina’s claim over the Falkland Islands.
This came in a joint statement after a meeting between the two countries’ leaders.
The Falklands are British territory - defended with British blood in 1982.
Now more countries are openly testing us because they sense weakness in London.
Britain must make it crystal clear:
The Falklands are ours and will remain ours forever.
