So I have an Indian friend (married to a Pakistani) ; a former Hindu and a former vegetarian (her siblings still Hindus so she eats a lot of vegetarian with them) .. I was asking about their dishes and stuff. I asked her, what do they make for dawats. She said wohi jo roz banta hai, sabzi. They only add a dish of paneer or something extra. She told me that you Pakistanis have special dishes for dawat and you prepare a lot, which is not the case with indians. The state menu here, tells she was right!
