We lost a rowdy boy today. Cameron Sisneros is a 1B prospect who made his way up to Double-A this season at 25 years old .265/.419/.422/110 OPS+, 19% K, 21% BB I had him ranked outside my top 30 due to positional value and age, but there’s some untapped pull-side power in there

@chifanpatt2 I honestly thought he’d be the fill in closer while DP heals. Apparently CC decided that job would go to Ethan Roberts. Roberts might’ve been the better call in that ugly situation but I never understand CC’s BP usage.

Jacob Webb had been doing a very nice job overall over the past month or so. A bad outing will happen. But I was sitting at the game when he was coming in and was like, “Man…that’s the best we have to put out a fire right now?…” That’s just kinda bleak.

@CubsWorld80 Hoyer should be fired simply for that. Schwarber not good enough for Jed’s plan. He needed a proven cheater to anchor his horrible lineup instead of a proven champion.

@JohnB1806 @SamOlbur I agree. I’m disappointed in him even more than Nico. He was so good last year I thought he was going to be even better in .26. I mean he was crushing the ball. He homered in g5 off Miz! Instead he looks more confused up there than ever. So much potential never fully realized.

@ArthurDaLaRock @SamOlbur What bothers me is he has been awful this year with RISP, and bases loaded. That hasn't been the case in his career though he was strong in RBI spots last year. Seiya isn't a star but replacing his power is easier said than done. The offense struggles every time he gets hurt.

The amount of pressing there from seiya. 3-1 slider right down the middle and then chases a pitch never in the zone

@JohnB1806 @SamOlbur When was the last time Suzuki came through late in a game in a spot like that? Not like the GS in the middle innings vs a garbage Colorado team. But vs a good bp in a tight game. He’s incapable. He’s got a mental block when he needs to be clutch. Good riddance to him.

@SamOlbur Can always count on Sam to barely acknowledge Seiya doing good things at the plate lately, and then jump on him the 1st chance he gets for an out against one of the nastiest relievers in baseball. Meanwhile no criticism of our best hitter Busch having under a .400 slugging %.
