@Joel7Richardson I agree with you about the gifts and about the aversion to today’s Charismania. Who do you find to be doing it “right”? Or at least, sensibly and biblically.

Although I believe that miracles still happen and the gifts still function, I've always largely ignored or avoided popular Charismatic culture, for reasons that should be obvious. I greatly appreciate Mike Winger's efforts to bring about real change and biblical accountability in that part of the Church. I personally believe that Steven Koko (mentioned in this video) should be in prison and never allowed back in ministry again. Todd White should also permanently step away from ministry. If you are from this part of the Church world, please prayerfully consider this video presentation: youtu.be/FyoR5HQjI6w?si…

@rabbriansamuel Conservatives favor Facebook, far-right and most of the Left favor X. Different culture, different expectations. In short, Facebook is more personal information based, and X is more outrage based.

Considering how popular X is, I barely know anyone that uses it. Almost everyone I know is active on Facebook though. Is your experience the same?

What’s one theological stance you grew up with that you still hold firmly to? And what’s one theological stance that you changed your perspective on? 🤔

@SS53611912 This assumes all covenants have the same purpose, or are contrary to one another. Which is incorrect on both fronts. Covenants are often supplementary or successive; the Abrahamic did not replace the Noahic, nor the Davidic the Mosaic.

@DavidWilberBlog There is only one covenant. Circumcision counts for nothing. One must be born of the water and the Spirit In the name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. If there is more than one covenant (or path) then the Resurrection is of no value since it would not be needed.

Yeah, literally all you have to do is read the Gospels. For example: "The Samaritan woman said to him, 'How is it that you, **a Jew,** ask for a drink from me, a woman of Samaria?'" —John 4:9 "You worship what you do not know; **we** [that is, the Jews in contrast to the Samaritans] worship what we know, for salvation is from the Jews." —John 4:22
zeddicus snow@ZeddicusSnow

@DavidWilberBlog Can you show one time in scripture where Yeshua referred to Himself as a Jew? Can you show any examples of anyone calling Him one? If you can’t, you are a false teacher.

@Chuckyboyn My my, this is a silly response. “Yeah, you quoted John’s Gospel on what Christ said, but it’s from John’s POV so it doesn’t count.” I guess if you weren’t able to move the goalposts you wouldn’t have a point to make.

I keep Shabbat because Yeshua did. I eat kosher because Yeshua did. I celebrate the biblical holidays because Yeshua did. Striving to be Christlike includes walking as He walked. And these are part of that walk.

We had a very interesting discussion at our Bible study last night. We all agreed that salvation... entry into the Kingdom of God... is not at all based on our merits, works, or even Torah observances. It is exclusively based on the atonement provided by the Messiah. But once in the Kingdom, is there a merit-based system where we are rewarded based on works? Does one redeemed soul get a higher heavenly position than another who was slightly less faithful in life?

@gizzledancer @John_Rowan_J @rabbriansamuel Paul says in Galatians 4 that Christ was “born of a woman, born under the law.” If He broke the law, then He sinned (1 John 3:4), and if that were the case, He would be neither God nor the perfect, unblemished lamb.

@John_Rowan_J @rabbriansamuel "breaking" was bad wording. If Jesus is God, He is, then he is outside the constraints of the law. Why would he say then in Mark 2:27 The sabbath was made for man, and not man for the sabbath: 28 Therefore the Son of man is Lord also of the sabbath. also Gal. 3:24-25

Do you really think that the Apostle Paul ceased keeping a 7th day Sabbath in favor of Sunday?

@rabbriansamuel @RealCandaceO @DanBilzerian why did you both change words and add words to the verse? There is no Bible that uses the term Yeshua nor the lines you added You're also not a Christian and don't believe these verses, so who do you think you're fooling?

Every knee will bow... and every tongue profess that Yeshua the Messiah is Lord. - Philippians 2:10-11 All will ultimately bow down to a Jew, Yeshua. @RealCandaceO will bow to a Jew. @DanBilzerian will bow to a Jew. Highly recommended you do it on this side of eternity.

@MikeCosper I had no idea there was such a market for racism and misogyny in the evangelical church. And I don’t have that high a view of it! But literally I would never have believed you if you told me this about 2025

@AspiringSkolar It's not like it really changed hands. They project the image that Elon Musk bought it, but it is still being run by the government to push certain narratives. Nothing has really changed, and it is still as toxic as ever.

So question for the #SBLAAR24 folks: should I plan to ship back home the books I’ll be picking up, or would I be better off just bringing an extra empty suitcase and checking them at the airport?

@Timcast Yeah, how can one measure the campaign promises she’ll break if she isn’t making any? At least Trump’s broken promises will be easier to measure.
