No Sunday Scaries over here. We have the meal prep of a lifetime happening all at once. - Flatbread pizzas - Tortellini soup - Protein eggs bowls for mornings - Chicken fajitas Flatbreads and fajitas done on the blackstone. 2 hrs of prep and cooking for an entire week of eating.

One time I was working at a company with lots of promise as the head of marketing. Everything was going great. No issues, growth month over month, profitable, etc. Tuesday one week we were closing on our home with another child on the way. Couldn't be happier. Same Tuesday I get called into a random meeting and laid off on the spot. No reason besides "investor stuff". Signing on the house, laid off, second child on the way. Leaned into network and building Dad Gang even more. Things turned out fine, but man was that a shake up. Main thing I learned from it is let those things happen to you. Find out why and go harder at the next thing. Whenever a bad turn happens just think "Good." It's just a building block for what's next. Onward.

@girdley Back in the day. Me and 2 other partners had a doc called a “partnership charter” looked pretty similar to this. A supplemental doc, that helped us part ways in a clean manner. I wish I had one for my second partnership ;) where we just had typical legal agreements. Cheers.

When I worked as a W-2 sales rep, companies would try to offer me a $250,000-$450,000 base salary and 5% in commissions. I'd always negotiate it to $0 in base salary and 11-16% in commissions. That's one way I was able to make $200,000+ a month. High income = high commissions + advanced sales skills.
