@JonathanRuffle Hi, just finished your Steve Wright book. Excellent. I was a big Radio 1 fan in the 80s. I never realised before why SWITA sounded so much better than every other show, so much prep went into it. The Warren There was just so much work involved.

@SeasideFerry That’s proper parks and gardens! I’m from Sheffield which had a great tradition of well laid out parks. It was disappointing to here the lady from (I think) Southport talk about how little support their gardeners get from the council contractors.

@Atlanteanforme Thank you! It was a fun theme to research. Such a shame that municipal gardening gets so little funding today. I'm sure the flowers enhanced people's daily lives back in the day and they would again

@SeasideFerry Great talk this evening. Thank you. I love floral clocks (and carpet bedding). Not enough said about them I’m afraid.

@warwickmansell Are you available on any other social media? Everyone seems to be leaving here (for good reason), but I want to continue to follow you.

@kennyrueter This is important. The content creator needs to be absolutely clear what the outcome is expected from their content otherwise they’ll never know whether they’ve achieved it or not.

Something I've noticed about the experts who build real businesses vs. the ones who just build audiences: The real ones are obsessed with outcomes. Not "did they watch the video?" Not "did they open the email?" Not "did they finish the course?" But: "Did they actually get the result I promised?" Audiences are vanity. Outcomes are the business.

Train been held up outside Abergavenny by a broken tree on the line. The driver has got out, cut it up and removed and we’re on our way. People moan about train drivers! Well done that man 👏👏Stick that in your pipe @NickFerrariLBC @tfwrail @ASLEFunion @RMTunion

@SchoolsWeek How about parents feeding their children before they get to school. (and make sure they’ve brushed their teeth afterwards).

As the government announced 2,000 more free breakfast clubs will be launched from April, a DfE survey has revealed three-quarters of primary leaders fear they are 'not financially viable in their school' schoolsweek.co.uk/breakfast-club…

@TerrySinnett @NickFerrariLBC @tfwrail @ASLEFunion @RMTunion Hi Terry, this was me 👋🏼 I've just been sent this by a kind colleague. Obviously, I didn't do it for any recognition, just part of the job, but I'm truly grateful for your message, and also for the supportive comments which followed. Nice to see some support for Train Drivers 🙏🏼

New: Same old, same old: back to school behaviour announcement reads like tired re-tread of Conservative policies educationuncovered.co.uk/analysis/same-… A look at today’s DfE announcement, including Labour’s appointment of Tom Bennett as an “attendance and behaviour ambassador”.

Tonight at 10.10 on BBC4 Here’s the original running order, as detailed in my nerdy little schoolboy notebook from back in the day. Oh, and the original ‘mind your backs, lads’ line from co-host Roger D, linking into Village People, will have been subtlety omitted. #TOTP
