Looking ahead, the rollout of this rule will accelerate the transition to EVs in the U.S. and around the globe. It gives more juice to the momentum from IRA and IIJA and puts the U.S. on competitive footing in the global auto industry, as we race towards an all-electric future.

These investments represent the single largest investments in state history in Kansas, Georgia, Kentucky, and Tennessee. The new regulations, combined with unprecedented federal investment in EVs, have massive implications for the automotive workforce.

Today, the EPA announced the final standards to regulate the emissions of new passenger vehicles sold in the United States. Starting in model year 2027, manufacturers of light- and medium-duty cars and trucks will need to comply with these new emissions requirements - (Cont.)
