The ceasefire was a complete fiction. While the White House announced one, missiles were still flying across Israel, Iran, and Lebanon. Reality doesn’t match the headline.
The White House was forced to backtrack today because the proposed “10-point deal” from Iran was a disaster that would let them enrich uranium, fund proxies like Hezbollah, maintain leverage over the Strait of Hormuz, and get sanctions relief. Even top allies like Mark Levin and Larry Kudlow are calling it a disaster.
Let’s be honest about how we got here: there was never an imminent threat to the U.S. Now we’re stuck in it, negotiating from a weakened position.

BREAKING: House Republicans block the Democrats’ attempt to pass an Iran War Powers Resolution—refusing even to allow a vote.
During a pro forma session, Rep. Glenn Ivey sought unanimous consent to advance the measure. Presiding GOP Rep. Chris Smith ignored the request and abruptly gaveled out.

In December, Pete Hegseth’s Pentagon quietly changed how the draft works.
Starting this December, every American male aged 18 to 25 will be automatically enrolled in the Selective Service database.
No form. No signature. No consent.
The government already has your Social Security number. Your DMV records. Your federal student loans. They’re pulling the data themselves.

That’s not at all the job of the Attorney General. Not even close. The AG doesn’t work for the President. He works for the American people. His job isn’t to “execute the president’s agenda.” His job is to fairly execute justice in America. These people are fucking everything up.

Holy shit! The Free Press is reporting that Cardinal Christophe Pierre was summoned to the Pentagon and rudely lectured (threatened) by an official that the U.S. military has the power to do "whatever it wants" and that Pope Leo and the Vatican should think twice about opposing Trump.
Tensions have apparently grown so severe that Pope Leo, the first-ever U.S. born pontiff, refused to accept Trump’s invitation to celebrate the nation's 250th anniversary. One Vatican official put it bluntly: "The Pope may well never visit the United States under this administration."

Plainclothed ICE agent wildly shoots pepper spray all around parking lot—knocking multiple bystanders to the ground.
"I've never experienced that level of pain in my life," said one victim.
"He had no ID—not even a vest that said ICE... It was just a dude in a plaid shirt."
Steven Davis required medical assistance at the scene after the pepper spray attack.
He had just stopped to film what was going on when he saw the crowd of masked men in the parking lot.
Incident occurred outside a Walgreens in South Tucson, Arizona.

The President of the United States is threatening to commit war crimes and wipe out a "whole civilization" — all because he started a disastrous war of his own making and had no plan and no strategy for how to end it.
This is abhorrent, and the American people do not support this.
Trump's recklessness is needlessly putting our brave service members in harm's way, destroying America's global standing, and making life even more unaffordable for the American people.
We must all stand against this and oppose funding this illegal war of choice.

Reporter: Deliberate attacks on civilian infrastructure violate the Geneva conventions and international law.
Trump: Who are you with?
Reporter: I'm with the New York Times
Trump: Failing New York Times. Circulation is way down.
Reporter: Are you concerned that your threat to bomb power plants and bridges amount to war crimes?
Trump: No, not at all. These are disturbed people. Quiet. You no longer have credibility. You’re fake.

@lisamurkowski @MariaTCardona Trump and Secretary Wargames made a huge show about the (thankful) rescue, but has ANYONE asked WTF those soldiers were DOING there?

The President’s threat that “a whole civilization will die tonight” cannot be excused away as an attempt to gain leverage in negotiations with Iran.
This type of rhetoric is an affront to the ideals our nation has sought to uphold and promote around the world for nearly 250 years. It undermines our long-standing role as a global beacon of freedom and directly endangers Americans both abroad and at home.
The oppressive, terror-spreading regime of the Islamic Republic must be distinguished from the people and the civilization of Iran. Everyone involved—especially the President and Iran’s leaders—must de-escalate their unprecedented saber-rattling before it is too late.

Not only is everything about race. It's also about gender with this president and administration.
12 senior military leaders fired in 14 months. One Defense Secretary. Zero official explanations.
Since taking office in January 2025, Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth has fired more than a dozen of the U.S. military's most senior leaders — including the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, the Chief of Naval Operations, the head of the NSA, and most recently the Army Chief of Staff during active war with Iran. The Pentagon has given no official reasons for most of the firings.
Among those removed: Gen. C.Q. Brown Jr. (first Black Air Force chief), Adm. Lisa Franchetti (first woman to lead the Navy), Adm. Linda Fagan (first woman to head the Coast Guard), Gen. Timothy Haugh (NSA director), Lt. Gen. Jeffrey Kruse (DIA director), and Gen. Randy George (Army Chief of Staff). NBC News reported Hegseth has blocked or delayed promotions for more than a dozen Black and female senior officers.
The White House says the changes reflect a "warrior ethos" and meritocracy. Five former defense secretaries, including Jim Mattis, have called the pattern "reckless" and asked Congress to hold hearings on national security implications. No hearings have been scheduled. This is a developing story.
