@chambleebrandel Course knowledge is one thing. In Rory’s case, he has a lot of it. But it does not guarantee a win. Those who say Rory had an unfair advantage don’t understand that he still had to execute for four tournament rounds under tremendous pressure. Don’t think they’ll ever understand.

Every single professional player who qualified for the Masters could go early and play as many practice rounds as they wish. Just as so many others, including Jack Nicklaus, have done in the past. The only advantage Rory had over the field was his considerable skill.

Me monitoring the situation this week:

During round 3 of the Annika a (very not sober) guy yelled, “you may be a pro but you look like you’re fifteen!” at me. Why does this keep happening 😭

Today a couple of guys saw me on the course. They were on another fairway and I hear one of them say, “I mean she looks like a pro. But she also looks like she could be 15.” 😀

Watching the US Open is so funny because you’re watching tennis then bam. It’s Al Roker. More tennis then bam. It’s Anna Wintour. More tennis then bam. It’s Ludacris.

@timmytVA @Mike_kim714 Not really. We’re usually playing a scramble and gunning for birdie on every hole as a team. It’s also a day dedicated to sponsors and guests so haven’t really encountered anyone like that.

@JRBayArea10 @Mike_kim714 The tour is making an effort to speed up play, but it’s still tough to execute. A lot of different reasons why (e.g., course set up/difficulty, what’s at stake, weather conditions, etc.). Both LPGA and PGA have PoP issues.

@Mike_kim714 @AustonTKim Some of the LPGA tournaments this year have had just awful pace of play. I will say the Women’s Open was entertaining to watch this past weekend.
