Als Bundesregierung haben wir uns heute, zusammen mit @iaeaorg Generaldirektor @rafaelmgrossi , zur Lage im Nahen Osten ausgetauscht. Wir sind uns einig: Ein neuer Flächenbrand muss verhindert werden. Ich appelliere an alle Seiten: Setzen wir den Waffenstillstand um und nutzen die Chance für Stabilität und echte Verhandlungen. Der 🇮🇷 muss seiner Verpflichtung zur Transparenz nachkommen und der IAEA uneingeschränkten Zugang gewähren, das ist Grundvoraussetzung für jede diplomatische Lösung. Dazu braucht es dringend ein neues Atomabkommen. Ich danke Generaldirektor Grossi für seinen unermüdlichen Einsatz. Die IAEA ist unser zentrales Instrument, um Vertrauen wiederherzustellen und die Verbreitung von Atomwaffen zu verhindern. 🇦🇹 steht als Sitzstaat voll hinter dieser Mission.

Shocked by the horrific news of an attack on a concert hall in #Moscow. Our thoughts are with the families of the victims and we wish a speedy recovery to all those injured. We are in constant contact with the Austrian Embassy in Moscow and are monitoring the events closely.
