We still cannot believe this happened. At a restaurant, while we were capturing our son opening his First Communion gifts, a stranger sitting near our table very loudly spewed anti-Catholic vitriol to disrupt the memory. He only stopped once our phone was put away, making his intent very clear. We chose to say nothing in the moment to protect our son's peace and preserve his joy. We are so grateful that he didn't notice the unkindness. To us, it serves as a reminder to pray for those who harbor such resentment toward our faith. May God bless this man with a change of heart. Please pray for him.

It's been 3 weeks since my wife had a stroke in her sleep. It was a massive one. She never revived. She survived a week in ICU on machines while medical establishment did their thing. She donated as many organs as possible. One day the tears will stop. Today is not that day.

I just came back from Benediction, and my parish priest is absolutely devastated. Apparently, Fr. Vincent was his really close friend. They both studied in the US at the same time and are currently preparing for their PhD. defence that is scheduled for this week. I almost cried when I saw my parish priest because his face was puffy and his eyes swollen. Can you also pray for my parish priest, too, please? Let God console him. Rest in peace, Fr. Vincent. God knows best.
