Fiat subscriptions for our SaaS at my.lnbits.com are temporarily disabled. @PayPal just closed the account we used. No chance to resolve or dispute, just closed. We ONLY offer software as a service, but being bitcoin "adjacent" has apparently been enough to get our account closed. Before this, @stripe did the same. Both held funds for months. We added fiat providers to @lnbits to make LNbits an all-in-one solution for merchants, but my god, touching fiat is a reminder of why #bitcoin is needed. It’s so odd that you’re forced to rely on trusted third parties for payments. The sooner these platforms become unnecessary, the better. We will add @Square to @lnbits and use that for our SaaS, hopefully their customer policies are more rational. Sorry for any inconvenience 🙏
