I’m Stranded in Lagos guys I Need Your Support 🙏 Hi, my name is Esther Ubak. I came all the way from Akwa Ibom State to Lagos for an exhibition, full of hope and excitement, dreaming that this trip would open doors for my craft and creativity. I’m a startup without funding anywhere, and to make this trip possible, I had to borrow money from friends, gather materials, and cover my travel expenses, all with the hope that the exhibition would be a success. But things didn’t turn out as I expected. The exhibition didn’t go as planned, and now, I’m faced with the reality of having to refund every single amount I borrowed. I really need the support I can get right now. So here I am, still in Ajah, Lagos, with all the beautiful, handcrafted, upcycled pieces I brought along. I cannot go back home until they are sold, and every piece carries the love, time, and creativity I poured into it. Below this post are the products available for pickup, each with its price tag clearly displayed. So If you’re in Lagos and love unique art, this is your chance to grab something special. 📍 Location: Ajah, Lagos 📲 To order: Screenshot your favorite piece(s) and DM me on WhatsApp: +2347080501180 If you can’t afford a piece right now, you can still share this post, refer a friend, or invite someone who might love them. Your support, big or small really means the world and can help turn this setback into a blessing. 🙏

Guys having Christian friends who pray for you is a big flex, so yesterday my roommate was supposed to undergo a surgical procedure on her eyes, she was booked for yesterday, and one of us insisted we do a joint agreement, she felt reluctant but we all insisted

this campaign of calumny against Tunde O is lazy at best. not everyone has the luxury of alignment. some people do work that cuts across divides - work that may collapse the moment it’s seen as partisan. in that position, neutrality is not cowardice; it’s a requirement for the work to survive and achieve its objectives. “but he has taken a side”. meanwhile, it’s a picture with the president of his country. an honorary ambassadorship from his state. opportunity to speak with young people (his primary target) at an event - organized by the president’s son. guess who else has a picture with the president. guess who else is a sports ambassador for Ogun state. guess who else was invited to speak at that event (Tunde didn’t even attend) that people are not dragging. what are we doing? if you’re doing impactful work, people across political divides will court you. people across the world will court you. you will be in rooms with people you like and those you loathe. and for the sake of the work, you will chest it. because the work is bigger than your personal politics. and the idea that he needs Nigeria to stay bad so he can have more slum kids is … laughable. his work isn’t about preserving slums. it’s about developing people - through chess - discipline, how they think, opportunity, etc. that doesn’t disappear if things improve. and no matter who the president is, Nigeria will never run out of underserved communities. infact, the world will never run out of it. you’re forcing politics on something that isn’t built for it. and judging a constraint you don’t carry. if you think you’d do it differently, oya do it. build something impactful, take your stance, and sustain it. until then, it’s just noise. lazy noise. 🙂‍↔️

Enjoying the new @hisanigeria @HisaApp experience. Trying to explore many parts of it. I really like how you can tap from buying power below the chart directly into the screen you need. Moving funds from wallet to brokerage is also very fluid ( one day we should explain why we separated those two. Hint, it's to better support multiple country and stock exchanges).

@eldivine @seunosewa @hisanigeria @HisaApp Hi @eldivine , the brand image used in the email that comes from Citi(after a buy order is placed)is that of Chaka and not Hisa. It might be confusing for a customer that has never used chaka. Also the text on the email references Chaka and a URL chaka.ng.

There's a physicist at Stanford named Safi Bahcall who modeled this exact principle and the math is wild. He calls it "phase transitions in human networks." When you're stationary, your probability of a lucky event is limited to your existing surface area: the people you already know, the places you already go, the ideas you've already been exposed to. Your opportunity window is fixed. When you move, your collision rate with new nodes in a network increases nonlinearly. Double your movement (new conversations, new cities, new projects) and your probability of a serendipitous encounter doesn't double. It roughly quadruples. Because each new node connects you to their entire network, not just to them. Richard Wiseman ran a 10-year study at the University of Hertfordshire tracking self-described "lucky" and "unlucky" people. The single biggest differentiator wasn't IQ, education, or family money. Lucky people scored significantly higher on one trait: openness to experience. They talked to strangers more, varied their routines more, and said yes to invitations at nearly twice the rate. The "unlucky" group followed the same routes, ate at the same restaurants, and talked to the same 5 people. Their networks were closed loops. No new inputs, no new collisions. Luck isn't random. Luck is surface area. And surface area is a function of movement. The lobster emoji is doing more work than most people realize. Lobsters grow by shedding their shell when it gets too tight. The growth requires a period of total vulnerability. No protection, no armor, soft body exposed to the ocean. That's the cost of movement nobody posts about. You have to be uncomfortable first. The new shell only hardens after you've already moved.

While men slept, yesterday night😅, the CBN confirmed the commencement of an AML/CFT/CPF Supervision Pilot for a select group of Virtual Asset Service Providers. The selected companies are @paystack, @theflutterwave, @kucoincom, @cngn_co, @koinkoinapp and @juicywayhq 🎉 And before you get too excited o, the framing was careful that participation confers no licensing status, no regulatory approval, and does not supersede the existing framework📌 That much is clear. But clarity of framing does not diminish significance of intent. Nigeria’s virtual asset regulatory story has been long and turbulent. We went from a blanket banking sector prohibition in 2021, through gradual re-engagement, to the ongoing question of which regulator owns what. The CBN’s move here does not resolve that question but it signals that the apex bank is no longer watching from a distance. For the first time in a while, it feels like we have actually left the runway. This structured supervisory engagement would involve a risk-based programme covering governance, customer onboarding, sanctions screening, transaction monitoring, and FATF Travel Rule preparedness. The focus on Recommendations 15 and 16 is deliberate. This is the CBN signalling to FATF evaluators that Nigeria is actively supervising this space. So now I’m thinking🤔, will this remain a compliance exercise, or is it the first step toward a functional, dual-supervised virtual asset ecosystem where the CBN and SEC each hold a defined lane? I’m curious to hear your thoughts about this…
