11 April 1994, When protection was withdrawn, and lives were left behind. At the height of the 1994 Genocide Against the Tutsi, thousands of Tutsi sought refuge at ETO Kicukiro, trusting the presence of United Nations Assistance Mission for Rwanda. But on this day, Belgian UN peacekeepers, under Lt. Luc Lemaire, withdrew, abandoning those they were meant to protect. Within hours, over 2,000 people were killed. This was not just a tragic moment—it was a failure of international responsibility. Peacekeeping is not only about presence. It is about protection, courage, and commitment when it matters most. When that duty is abandoned, neutrality becomes complicity. Dans le cadre du renforcement de l’éducation environnementale et de la contribution des jeunes à la transition écologique, Rwanda Scouts Association,aujourdhui le 29 March 2026 un atelier de Révision et de Validation du Module Pédagogique « Carbon Footprint /empreinte du carbone» Se passe au Siège de la Rwanda Scouts Association, Kigali. Objectifs de l'atelier est dd valider officiellement le module pédagogique « Carbon Footprint » et préparer sa mise en œuvre nationale. *Objectifs spécifiques* ✅Examiner le document et proposer les améliorations nécessaires ; ✅Définir les indicateurs et activités obligatoires pour l’obtention des badges ; ✅Harmoniser les contenus destinés aux formateurs et aux scouts ; ✅Finaliser la version validée du document pédagogique ; ✅Mettre en place un plan de déploiement et de suivi du programme Carbon Footprint au sein de RSA. *Résultats obtenus* ✅Le document pédagogique final est examiné, corrigé et validé. ✅Les activités et critères d’évaluation des scouts sont clairement définis. Une équipe nationale de formateurs est identifiée et harmonisée. ✅Un plan de mise en œuvre et de suivi est établi. #Rwanda_Scouts
