I get comments like this every week. My first instinct is to get defensive and want to say something snarky back. But that isn’t who Christ calls me to be. Instead, I’ll explain why I post every week. I don’t post for myself. I feel no need to go to the bottle. I post for those who are considering putting the bottle down. I post to encourage those struggling, that if some knuckle dragger like myself can do it, so can they. A reminder that my strength doesn’t come from me, but from the Lord. The amount of people I have been able to share Christ with through my journey has been amazing. So no, I’m not going to stop doing weekly posts anytime soon.
