@justadrifter31 Well, I am not a doctor so I don't give medical advice. I stated "keep those allergy meds close" as in, those that have them already. Not to get them (again, not a doctor). Yes, a mask helps...I wear one while mowing.

@BGoodeWAVE3 Another allergy season in which you specifically advise for allergy meds yet make no mention of wearing a mask (an N95 type is best) A N95 mask is phenomenal at filtering the air and reducing/removing the pollen that could enter your respiratory tract while breathing.

Signs are already there for another record high to fall later this week. We'll see how this trend holds but it has a very warm look with fading strong storms approaching from the north later that night.

Sunday night is... odd. Storms will likely form BEHIND a cold front, dialing back the tornado threat (good!) while maintaining a large hail threat and some gusty winds. We'll likely declare an Alert Day shortly due to the large hail potential after more data arrives this evening.

Ready for a warm first weekend of SPRING?! It is now underway. Still watching for some gusty storms after sunset Sunday.

Damage from Sunday night's storms in Nelson County, KY has been rated 80 MPH straight-line winds.

It will be interesting to see how this impacts the spring vegetation/moisture levels for the severe weather season ahead. It certainly will lead to more of a risk for record highs at times in those areas in drought especially.

We moved the snow needle a bit more on the season today. Could we add more tonight? Eh, perhaps.
