The Telangana police don't have information on where a Union minister's son accused of exploiting a minor girl is. Wonder if MoS Home Bandi Sanjay is filing a missing persons complaint to look for his son. Perhaps he is busy hiding behind a "Hindu Ektayatra" scheduled for tomorrow.

The complaint filed against the victim by the accused in this POCSO case is now circulating widely on social media precisely because the administration and society are treating it as a "special case" due to the involvement of Union Minister Bandi Sanjay Kumar’s family. This selective approach has led to the constitution of an SIT, which is turning out to be pure SHIT. Worse, the victim’s identity has already been revealed publicly, directly violating the core protections under the POCSO Act. POCSO cases must be handled uniformly, irrespective of the accused’s political connections or family background. SITs have been formed in several other POCSO cases (such as Ghaziabad, Gurugram, and others) only when there were clear delays, lapses, or proven reluctance by the local police — often on court directions. No such widespread demand or judicial finding of investigative failure existed at the initial stage here. Yet an SIT was constituted solely because a central minister’s family is involved. If there was no initial public or judicial demand for a special team, why create one now? Treating this matter differently undermines the seriousness of all other POCSO cases. It defeats the core purpose of the Act — equal protection and swift justice for every child victim, regardless of the accused’s influence. The very formation of the SIT in this case signals selective handling rather than impartial justice. When even the victim’s identity is no longer protected, the entire system stands compromised.
